Subterranean Homesick Blues review

Wow! It takes a brave band to do a Dylan cover. But you pull it off very nicely. I never thought of this song as a reggae but I found myself playing it again while writing this. It's good to see you have fun with it as well. I've reviewed other songs you have submitted and have enjoyed them as well. You have a good approach to your music and style that should get a good following and attention. Your sense of humor is relayed in your music and helps carry each song to keep the attention of the listeners. I do hear a little too much crisp high end in the mix, but that could just be my headphones. At any rate, great job on this one! Keep writing.

nice excellent vibe

I like the flow of the instruments and the sound of the lead voice. I could play this at my pool party. Nice vibe that is easy to listen to unlike most bands I can actually follow this group in the future.

Uplifting

A very good afternoon to you all and thank you for the invite to review your track " Subterranean Homesick Blues" which may i say that i found in my own personal music opinion to be a great uplifting song that has that get up and dance feel about it,great vocals and harmonies which have been mixed with a very strong melody to a very professional standard and i truly enjoyed very much listening to your composition and look forward to hearing more from you very soon.

Cheeche-esque tune for your enjoyment

Opens up with a catchy little guitar riff and a funky kind of sliding bass riff, then the words kick in and you are instantly reminded of Cheech and Chong from the seventies, with a little War thrown in for good measure. Words are more than a little non-sensicle for the most part, but after a few listens the song becomes infectious and you find yourself nodding your head to the beat. Enjoyable even if you wont find yourself learning the lyrics.

VERY COOL SONG, I LIKE THE SOUND, ITS DIFFERENT, REMINDS ME OF FRANK ZAPPA A LITTLE!!! The voice and tones for the vocals are great, sounds like its really being acted out and really happening. After the first 15 seconds I was laughing because of the story going on. Good mix, good song, very creative!!!

Analysis of Dylan song

So innovative--cool version of the Bob Dylan song, from 1965--Fried out--nothing about to deal with--guitar rings a note somewhere--maybe just the riff---wish I was on an Australian Range--no real reason, it's just that Rock needs to change--vocalist sound very innovative--

Homesick Blues

This songs gives the vibes of grange hill but this production is an updated remix. It has great dynamics in is arrangement. The lead guitar player has shown a rock solid performance and the bass is in the mix and fits perfectly in balance in the composition. The vocal is vibrant and energetic you can hear the energy and passion in the exppressive way it is sung. Having high energy vibes this is a fun party song.

Nice groove and song

I really like the groove of the song! Great funky bass riff and guitars. The vocals are a perfect match with the instruments and the vibe of the song. I like the transition of it from a rap kind of vibe to a more James Brown screaming vibe vocal. Mixing and producing wish also a good job. The song makes me feel like dancing. Cheers!

Subterranean Homesic Blues

Interesting song With flavour of blues. A cover with merit. Clean and pronounced lyrics. The mode of the song is easily connecting. Lovely song. I think that the composer can do more to suit the aura of the song. The instruments are clear and the melody is easily followed. I think that harmonies can be injected on the main vocal. The Parts of the song is seemingly rushed. Vocalist can relax and be one with the song a bit more. Good song just need a bit more creativity with the mixing. Looking to hear this song released. Good luck on your journey
