Zap & The Wires / Hot Wired / Menthol Woman From Venus (Digital Dungeon)

This Jersey Boy can play the Guitar

This Jersey Boy can play the Guitar, great guitar riffs, the music,is catchy and word worthy...but the guitar work is Classic and clean with riffs only a true guitarist with soul can produce..What this site/world needs is a great instrumentalist to do music like they used to do in the 1960's and 1970's ,there was always a great instrumental playing for a space in the ratings every month and a trophy from the Grammy's or the Academy for a movie title theme, listen to this song and especially the guitar work..

Menthol 100

An interesting song that's so indie it's in. The singer songwriter genre that's specified here for the category seems a bit misplaced. Rock or Indie Rock would be better. The basic cords seem a bit overdone - no variation and it's up to the guitars and hopefully the vocals to add anything interesting. The production values for the vocals are off a bit, and I'm not sure the spoken part of this works to the songs advantage. Fun, though.

Cool sounding

I like this style of Guitar Play and the groovy voice , even the singers voice , that remembered me to someone very famous, is good recorded and presented. The Venus Code of ist Lyrics is something that resonates with my actual life

MENTHOL WOMAN FROM VENUS

A NEW TAKE ON THE BLUES AND BLUES ROCK RIFFS INTERESTING SONG LYRICALLY NOT SURE WHY IT HAS TO BE OVER 5 MINUTES IN LENGTH MAYBE ITS ME BUT THE MUSIC IS A LITTLE PREDICTABLE AND ITS A GOOD IDEA FOR A SUBJECT IN A SONG BUT THIS TRACK LACKS TENSION A ND RELEASE AND MUSICAL DIVERSITY I MEAN I HAVE REVIEWED OTHER TRACKS BY THIS NEW JERSEY OUTFIT BEFORE QUITE FAVORABLY UNFORTUNATELY THIS ONE DOESNT QUITE ACHIEVE THE SAME STANDARD

insectos y roedores

neptuno de menta destilada zapus enredados en alambres de pua inventados por sarmiento queriendo dividir el ganado y matando terneros para lamer botas me gusta su musica espero escuchen lo que hago es ensoñador y perverso

Zap & the Wires softly rock

Spoken word, great drum sounds and quirky keyboards make this song gently rock into outer space. Guitars add a classic rock sound that trails off from an interesting solo in the standard of rock ballads everywhere

Mentol woman from venus

Very nicè concepte mellow allegro.. Sound I beleive this is going to be anys oustanding sound To hear dance and cruise. With that guitar solo.. I will like to hear morè of your. Repertori o to learn about the variety of túnels and your creativity

Cool

Kinda reminds ME of tge song that came on in tge beginning of dumb and dumber. It has a really classic rocl sound to it. You ahould defiantly keep it up. Got a lot of talent. Keep pushing. And never give up.

Zany but great

This is great, i'm not one to pigeon hole music or musical styles but this tune is reminiscent of Frank Zappa or Captain Beefheart. As a fan of those artists a song like this really makes me buzz, though i will say it is only reminiscent because Zap & The Wires are an original sounding band. Great rhythm parts and the vocals are just out there, love the "Alligator" bit especially...great work guys, love it!

Good music ,cools gimmicks.

I like the composition and the guitar party are amazing! The sound is very good , your way the sing are really between Blues/rock and Uk punk. The part of the song with taping is great.Nice job!

Zap

In true bizarre lyrical Zappa blues feel. Competent playing which I hoped would take some more bizarre twists than it does. It plays as though in a roadhouse gig. But saying that I like it all the same. It has a pull in its strong rhythm section and a low down bass that pushes it forward in its incessant drive along the highway. With flurries of guitar solos that make it fly.

A pop rock between pop & noise

Nice tracks! Sound likes #gorillaz & #talkinheads but sound good. Singin easy to memory with more noise around the text like a trip around the world ! This songs come from the space as title tell u.

Clean sounds!

You have a really unique sound here. I like the guitar riffing and solos. It's got a nice solid groove to it. The vocals are balanced in a way that they are clear and not hidden behind a wall of other sounds. The blend I notice is almost like "Queens of the Stone Age + The Cure". The only thing I really could say was the bass line and drums were kind of repetitive. If you have the guitar going all over the place with that awesome sound, maybe the bass could jam along? Just my opinion though. Overall it's a nice tune!
