Like the horn intro and outro. Could use a few more chord changes. All and all pretty catchy tune. Just my two and a half cents. Gotta admit one hundred and fifty characters is more than I expected it to be.

I think this is my favorite so far. Nothing like a good story - that's why Dave does all the lyrics, because I'm terrible. But good lyrics are essential to a good song and this is a good one. I like this one.

I have always been a fan of Zap & The Wires, so listening to this song confirmed why I am a fan. This song is amazing. The vocal arrangement is amazing, the instrumental is fire. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the recording. It was obviously done in a studio setting and has a kind of Rolling Stones feel to the groove and vocals. I like the Saxophone solos and the music never overrides or takes away from the message. The message is valid although a little pessimistic about the future. It is true that our freedom is in jeopardy and everything we have become accustomed to will have to change but we get to be the change God uses to bring about a better future so there is always hope. Great effort and catchy upbeat song. Keep up the good work!

The beginning of the song is a contrast between horns for the intro and then vocals. I was surprised by how they mingled. The singer sounds like the lead vocalist in the group called The Clash from the '80s and a mixture of Tom Petty. And I like 70s and 80s music very much. If you're a fan of that genre you should give this a listen.

Upon my first listen to the fabulous number by Zap & The Wires :"Boy Of Dust" - I am impressed by the originality and spirit of this fine group of musicians. The production of their music is first rate, and the vocals and musicianship are exceptional. While the band's influences are evident, they still inject a personality and originality that you have to acknowledge. I would highly recommend giving 'em a listen!

"Boy Of Dust", by Zap & The Wires is another great song. The addition of the saxophone during the introduction was really nice. The song itself is more of a rocker in the style of The J. Geils Band, unlike the other songs which lean country and country rock. The Sax solos fit great and the song is fun all the way through. This was a pleasant surprise as I am a fan of the J. Geils Band too.

I like the sound it's original! I can feel the heart in this showing you put in some dedicated work. I like the melody and that energy ya'll put into the music, very laid back but it hits hard!!! Sounds like the studio vibe was feeling the vibe I could sit back to this one and zone out!!!!! More artist should study the roots of their culture of art more to be better at their own art. nice little up stroke guitar line opens the tune and sets the tone going forward. Little bit of a Reggae feel with an Elvis Costello styled lead vocal laying over the top. Fairly straight forward Sax line provides the conjunction between verses very nicely without distracting from the overall feel of the song. The anarchist tone to the lyrics seems a bit out of place with the mood the music sets, but that almost gives it an early British punk feel. Nicely done, going to grab a Frisbee and head out to the beach now....

Cool intro, great beat, well produced and mixed!! Not a lot I can say about this other than a good level of professionalism, a chorus that lifts, instrumentation and arrangement that keeps it all together an interesting! It chugs along and works well. The vocals are great too, again, interesting and draws you in with its style. Again, good job!!

Nice groovy track. Digging the vibe. Boy Of Dust is one of those jams that will take months to get out of your head. Turn the radio up and roll the windows down and drive down the highway to this jam right here. Your ears will thank you.

Zap & the wires,boy of dust- this is a very cool new wave/dance type of music that reminds me of the eighties such as The Rolling Stones to the English beat. The instrumentation is very well thought out and the music is very good and the sound is very good also. You don’t hear this kind of music on the radio these days only this freaking rap/freestyle music getting thrown down our mouths. I find this tune excellent and rocking very good track.
