I've been getting critiques about the way in which I create these songs. So I put up a few pictures of the instruments I use. You can see, they are electronic drums, electronic keyboards and a computer. Yes, I use MIDI. But I actually play these instruments. The only time I change anything I played live sis to either tweak edit sounds here and there. If I don't want to play the same thing over again, I just copy and past measures, saves time. Ir if I don't get something exactly the way I wanted it, I go in an edit it. So, weather it's MIDI or Audio, I still need to tweak and/or edit with Pro Tools. Now this is the standard Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Known the world over. There are degrees in this. Iit can be linked to video, a score program and live link. it's not amateur stuff , it's "ro Tools. I suppose some of you would think "la de da" (no big deal) It is a big deal. Very powerful program, tons of support around the world and lots of videos to learn it. Even then, You need to start from scratch and go to school on it. After the university, I took about 2-3 years to really dive in and learn it. OK, now I'm off my high horse about MIDI critiquing. I'm working on 2 songs. 1 is to finish up that "unfinished 5.8" I'll put some strings in there, sing the melody of lyrics I wrote a long time ago. (I have to find one of the tens of lyrics I wrote that matches with the melody, harmony and beat.) The next song I'm working on called "Extra Extra" has a violin section in the beginning and abruptly goes into a funky dance beat. From there, I don't know where I'll take you. (or it).
