We have played some amazing sold out shows this year and met hundreds of cool people. We have also had to say goodbye to friends, family, and love ones who passed on. 2016 is a very bittersweet year. We dedicate the rest of our show dates this year to the memory of the people we love and you love that are no longer in our life or your life. Thanks for supporting, connecting, and listening to our music. We will be back in the studio during our summer break recording a new EP for you because you make life worth living Rula Bula!! About World Famous Johnsons
World Famous Johnsons (WFJ) are a Indie Rock Band founded by guitar player Julian Anderson (1963 - 2012) from Dogs of Pleasure. The current WFJ lineup features Matthew Johnson on lead guitar/vocals formerly of Great White, Scooter on lead guitar formerly of Lola Black, Shane Delray on lead guitar/vocals, Scott Parker on bass/vocals, Jimmy D on drums/vocals and Rich Carlson on drums. WFJ have also featured Ace Johnson, Jimmy Strickler, Kenny Swagger, and Donnie Crisp on recorded material. After the release of the full length CD "Hitchhiking is Overrated" at the Gothic Theatre on December 1st 2012 and numerous shows, the World Famous Johnsons are now in the studio recording more musical works. The first recorded song "All Ready Dead" now is available for a limited time free download and new releases are set for 2016! The World Famous Johnsons as a collective have shared the stage with multiple national touring bands and artists including Jack Russell's Great White, George Lynch, Zakk Wylde, XYZ, Lola Black, Saigon Kick, Love/Hate, I Mother Earth, Nuclear Assault, Omen, Mind Bomb, Tracii Guns, Phil Lewis, (expired link). GUNS, Quiet Riot, UFO, Faster Pussycat and many more... RULA BULA!! WFJ
