Howl at the Moon by Seismic Anomaly is a heavy Rock groove song with this guitar driven typical four-piece rock band outfit of guitar bass drums and guitar the song creates an apprehensive groove sort of like standing on the edge of a cliff and looking down on what is going to unfold...... Instrumental in production it hits home

Iggy Ice: We all love good anomaly here at the studio, so imagine waking up and finding a Seismic Anomaly in my in box? I texted Rosie Rumba who is working from home today, and sent her the file. She sent it to Frankie D., who is up early today and the 3 of us are blown away! I have it blasting on the JBLs in the studio, and it so freakin loud. Rosie: I listed on my car steer while dropping off Haley at school. Good vides from this well mixed tune. Frankie D: Hey Ice, I listened with my earbuds and then straight from my iPhone. I heavy instrumental! I'm banging on my drum pad so hard, my roommates thought I drawing down the Moon. Ice: The 18" subwoofer is a bit under utilized as the bass track could have a touch more bottom to it. Rosie: The ceiling tile test. Ice: Yes Rosie. When that one loose tile starts jumping, you can feel the air push from the subwoofer. Frankie: Nice ending, but I'd remix it with the guitar fading out along with the synthesizer to make it less abrupt. Other than that I'll say this tune is a good stream on any platform. Rosie: I agree Frankie D. A touch more bottom, guitar in the fade out, and one more thing to make it clear that this is a real guitar virtuoso, I'd like to hear a little shredding to go with the dynamic of the rhythm. Ice: I love it just the way it is Rosie and Frankie. However I see your point. I've used a third track in cases like this. So let's wrap it up with the votes: I have your texts. Rosie: 4.5 | Frankie D: 4.5 | Ice: 5.0 nets this Seismic Anomaly a 4.666 which is really 4.7 when you round up. Me, I prefer the .666 is congruent with the frequency of this track. Hard, fiery and unapologetic. More, clap, clap, encore! Be love... evolve... iAndroid Dior D'Na aka Iggy Ice

Howl At The Moon, is just what we are needing in these strange times. Seismic Anamoly has captured a mood where people are so frustrated right now, all they want to do is howl at the moon. Good vibe. Luv Corinne xxxxx

Majestic guitar work here

Helpful

This here is some solid guitar work. What we do,. we stand by a river or just in the street watching things happen - without US IN IT. In my precious opinion music has to deal with the crazy world of our emotions and strife. Want it or not but this instrumental piece is absolutely marvelous from the point of view of mastering all the principal blocks of music we call rock. It's heartening to perceive some impressive level of smart musical aptitude.

Cool riff

Helpful

I like the way the music was built on the beginning riff. The instruments are very well placed in the mix. The song starts to immediately take the mind places like through rugged terrain, trees and darkness of the night. Cool concept to create this song. Sounds very tribal. It breathes through out the melody like a monster!

A class track The mix could possibly do with some adjustment. But that's me nitpicking. The track itself is really good. I'd like to hear more songs. One of the parts of the song that really speaks to me is the epic verse. It is awesome. There's also some interesting tonal pieces you've used that I'm finding really captures my attention. I'm interested to hear where you go with your next piece. Thank you for sending me the request for the review I wish you the best.

Howlin' good!

Good change up and character! Interesting intro and beat throughout... I'd like to see a performance live to see what other snappy tunes are being written by the Seismic Anolomy. Curious if there will be any touring by him/them in the future...

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song there's this weird double rhythm electronic vibe that I'm not sure what's happening. But the guitar is intense and purpose driven. I like that it's produced, mixed and mastered well, too.

Howl at the Moon review

Well, this song starts out rockin' and sadly, it goes down from there. I'm not saying it isn't a cool groove, but I just listened to five and a half minutes of one chord and several other guitar textures laid on it at various points. The best thing to do here would be to start working on some changes in the chord progression and possibly write some lyrics to them. The energy on this is all good and simply needs you to throw in a few changes to take the listener somewhere else. If you don't write lyrics, you may find a songwriter to help collaborate with you. The groove rocks and simply needs a little help to become a real song. Good luck in the future with it and keep writing!

Odd nostalgia!

This gave me a feeling of nostalgia, like a familiarity with a video game soundtrack from when I was a kid. I really enjoyed it, unique sounds, good beat and tempo. Imho should be put into a videogame OST.

I especially like the way the intro builds up with the introduction of each layered sound. Rhythm is great even though it's repetitive the guitars and changing counter rhythms keep my interest. I would love to hear a vocal and bridge or chorus. I don't always make it to the end of a song on review but I not only listened to it I enjoyed it. Driving Rock with great sound choices.

OK Crazy

Helpful

I enjoyed this cut from the start. Jumped right in with a crazy feel, having fun, what could go wrong? It turned into kinda funky beat. That's about when I realized there were no lyrics, but that's ok, because the music did the talking good enough. Still having fun with it, so why not just go with it. Song gets a bit long for no lyrics, but that's ok because it grooves. Good work.

WOW! What a Beginning

Catches you right off the bat. Such a driving song. This got me interested quickly. Such cool, but different sounds with the Guitars. Almost sounds like something you would hear in a movie, or action type sequence in a movie.Really like the intensity of what is going on here. I do wish there was singing etc... Even without the singing, this is very good, and sets a mood. I Like Sincerely Edward Westbrook

A great build to the main riff and 'personanlity' of this song!

Helpful

This song starts with a very nice build up, just to get your juices and ears use to the sounds recorded on this song. A little guitar (synth sounds?) and/or distorted bass to begin with, then some interesting drum beats to add to the dramatic effect of this song. Then the main guitar riff kicks in and the distorted bass, progressing along with the consistent drum beat. Lots of distortion/buzz-saw like sounds, which I tend to like because it just has a "meaner"/aggressiveness to it. Then throughout this song it permeates little guitar harmonics, riffs, harmonies to keep the song 'moving' and not get boring. (this is pretty important, since there are no lyrics to this song, so you have to keep it flowing, which Seismic Anamoly does quite well) I listened to this song at least three times already, and I can say that I was not bored listening to it, plus the overall production of this recording was quite good! I definitely appreciate that, because I believe production and engineering of your recording is important to bring out all the nuances/sounds you want your listener(s) to notice. I was actually picturing this musician jamming in his studio, and tweaking the EQ while playing the song to see what levels this song should be recorded at. Thanks for a good song! I am wondering what kind of vocals/lyrics I can throw onto it, as I am typing my review about your song.

Nice constant driving sound although I'm a Guitarist+ vocalist and crave some screaming vocals along with the power that's being released. You should also change cords once in a while because there are many ways to express the power you've generated.

Great tune. I really like the intro and how the basic mood of the song is carried throughout. Great recording and mix as well. Guitar work is catchy and interesting but not over powering. I am rating a 4 only because it was a little repetitive. Good job Bro!
