"A Little Further Down The Line" A winnerTrevor is one if my favorite song writers and recording artists. So it pleases my to say, that I love this song, Love it's honesty, Love it's message. "A Little Further Down The Line" is a winner. As always true with Trevor, so simple yet always poignant. The universality of this song is massive. The productions simple and handled with sensitivity. Instruments well placed and clear. A very comfortable mix. This song makes me feel like i'm sitting on the back porch with Trevor and friends, and he's picking, stumping and singing a mighty message. Trevor my friend, you never disappoint.

Great songI love the message of the song. It’s a simple but powerful song with great lyrics. There’s nothing better than entering into the joy of the Lord. The song has a catchy musical arrangement that makes it easy to listen to. Great job on the song.
SongThis is agreat somg. I know its not going to be long till we are gonna see him face to face. All our burdens will be gone. No more sorrow or pain Praise God! Keep on working and singing for the Lord. The words blessed my heart.
Lyrics!Even though it’s not my style, I love the lyrics on your song! In the very beginning of the verse vocal was kind of low. I wasn’t sure of the words clarity. Other than that, Keep it up! Spreading the Gospel and comforting one another with those words!

Peaceful songI really loved this song! It is so calm and peaceful. Trevor's vocals are very honest and spot on. The lyrics are encouraging and uplifting. I truly enjoy listening to Trevor's music. Keep doing what you are doing!
I love itAcoustic guitar really pulls me in, the low tones on your vocals are a nice touch too. The melody is nice and easy to remember. Very good on the lyrics brother and the background vocals are just the volume.
Simple and peacefulTrevor Toews' recording of "A Little Further Down the Line" is a simple, straightforward tune, imagining what it will be like to see Jesus face to face, when this life is over, and sung with the peaceful air of a righteous man. The intro is nice, and sets the overall sound of the song, which is mixed well throughout. From a songwriting standpoint, there are passages early in the song, where the vocal goes down too low, a little out of the lead singer's range. I would encourage the songwriter, once a song is written, to experiment with different keys, to get it pitched in the "wheelhouse" of the vocalist, before recording it. There is one other spot which bothers me a little, as a songwriter, and that is in the first verse, where the words "call" and "calling" occur to close together, and end up sounding redundant. All that said, this is a pleasant piece, expressing a universal hope for all believers. May you sleep the sleep of the righteous.
Fantastic MessageTrevors song a Little Further Down The Line is an excellantly written and Produced song giving promise to the Christian during these sinful and trying times. I can imagine a lot of people will be able to relate to the Promise that when we finally hear Jesus welcome us home that all of the heartaches and trials will finally be over as we walk through the gates of Heaven to be reunited with our Loved ones who have moved on to the Promised Land for those who have remained Faithful to the word of God. I highly recommend everyone listen to this song by Trevor Toews. God Bless.
A Little Further Down The Line ReviewA very heartfelt, lovely song for the Lord's praises. A song that may inspire many a believer and worshipper , bringing them closer to the father in harmony with his grace and mercy. The music is very sweet and endearing, your vocals are positively inviting and share a tale with many of the same journey with our Messiah. I look forward to hearing more of your marvelous music of the gospel.
Further down the lineI thought the vocalist had a very pleasant voice with soothing vocals, easy and relaxing to listen to.....however in places it felt a little rushed.....maybe on the chorus...if it started~ further down line, instead of~ a little further on down the line, it wouldn't sound so rushed....otherwise I liked it.
In MY OpinionGreetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the soft guitar work.Think about a solo break to step away from vocals for a short period. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny
