Upward and Onward

Hi there to all of you awesome 1358 fans. Thank you so very much for jumping on board this gospel train. I am so encouraged with all of your support. Well, I must make it known that I did not win the award for the GMA Covenant Award for Best Southern Gospel Song of the Year, but I continue to be over-whelmed knowing that this was a Canadian national nomination. ;) Greg Strom, the GMA president, graciously granted me a spot to showcase some of my tunes at the BreakForth event in Edmonton that occurred over the same weekend. He is such a humble servant of the Most High God. The GMA awards banquet and the BreakForth weekend was so much fun; with the interaction with all of the family that I met in previous years, along with new brothers and sisters in the faith that I met. Can't wait until next year to do it all over again. I am definitely on my way to developing my new personal website: https://www.trevortoewsmusic.com Our temperatures here in Edmonton are still on the roller coaster; being above 0 C for a few days, and then down into the tank for a couple of weeks; so strange. Working on seasonal equipment at the city is keeping me quite busy with the sander and plow trucks for a couple of months now. I am really getting itchy feet regarding getting out to minister with these songs that the Lord has given me, so if you know of any group that you think would appreciate these tunes, please pass them on my way. Still no further progress on the basement development. Don't know what is wrong; always feeling tired. Guess I have to rattle my doctors cage again. lol I suppose that I am not alone, regarding to forging ahead with the things that are in our hearts. I would really like to "acquire" bigger and better equipment with which to improve the quality of my songs, but the moula required hasn't caught up with my vision yet. lol Oh well, I will try to adopt the heart that our brother Paul had; being content whether I have much or little. After all, it is not so much "what" we do as it is "how" we do what we do for the Lord in our lives (i.e. how we treat people and how we acquire these things along our journey). Regarding new songs, I woke early this morning with a pop type tune in my head, so keep your eyes on my sites. It is going to be entitled "Every Good and Perfect Gift." I have joined the Alberta Country Music Association, so I just may toss a couple of my tunes in the songs to be nominated this up-coming year. Please pray that I make the right decisions that will reflect the heart and will of Father God. A very special thanks to all who have been spreading the word of mouth regarding my songs. Hopefully, we will all get to meet some time before the angel blows the trumpet, and we are all taken home. No more tears and no more fears. Well, it's off to work for the day. May the Lord God of Israel bless and guide each and every one of you on your journey closer and closer to Him, until we meet again. :) Your musical anomaly, Trev
