About Theresa Leoniy

I am number one for country music in Houston, Texas
Check out my vocals at (expired link) Theresa’s passion for singing developed as a small child. A native of Philadelphia, she was coached by Russell Faith who wrote “Somewhere in Your Heart” for Frank Sinatra and the movie score to “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.” Her vocal coach is Nancy Sofka.

Theresa has completed her demo CD that is available upon request. It contains a variety of music sung to original tracks that include the following genres: country, ballads, pop, and soft rock. In December
2010, she recorded a song for a Houston documentary “Jodie Goes to Sturgis” directed by (expired link). Locas, producer/executive producer Andy Valadex, Bun Burners Entertainment, LLC.

She is currently at work preparing her one-woman show, Theresa Leoniy Sings the Music of Patsy Cline. After completing a songwriting workshop with the legendary Jeff Franzel, Theresa has written two original song lyrics and is collaborating with a local pianist to complete the project.

Theresa has performed at Ovations in Houston, Texas in a Jane Vandiver production of “December Dreams.” She has appeared at Third Coast Theater and the Hard Rock Café in Houston, Texas. Theresa has worked with musicians that include: Mike Owen, Joe Sle
