The Noctambulant is a Melodic Black Metal ensemble from Jacksonville, FL; with melodies that still manage to
bare reverence to the hard-edged tradition of the genre's European roots.
The Noctambulant is the creation of two veterans of the Florida music scene: E. Helvete (Vocals/Guitar),
and D. Franseth (Drums). While playing in other bands, these two friends discovered a mutual lure to forge their
own path in the Black Metal genre; and The Noctambulant was (expired link) Noctambulant means "Night Walker", a fitting title for a musical collective steeped heavily in the
darker sides of metal. In the winter of 2013, the band released the 'Dreams of Rotten Silence' EP on Itunes (and other
on-line outlets); followed by 'The Fear Leader' EP in 2014.

2019 Bio
The Noctambulant is a melodic black metal ensemble
from Jacksonville, FL. Specializing in a dark,
atmospheric sound that invokes the blackest of
northern tenets while never ignoring titan hooks that
keep listeners coming back; The Noctambulant literally
means “night walker”, a fitting title for a musical
collective risen from the darkest catacombs of metal.
The Noctambulant has released three extended
play albums: Dreams of Rotten Silence (2013), The
Fear Leader (2014) and Hubris and Nemesis (2015).
2016 saw the release of their first full length album,
Advocatus Diaboli(DG Records) and a video for
the single 'Goddess'.
Their unique sound has terrorized and enthralled fans
at Death to Miami III, Deland Metal Festival, Black Kvlt
Fest II and while providing support for Moonspell,
Skeleton Witch, Turisas, and Thy Antichrist.
The band is currently putting the final touches of black
ichor on their second full length to be released in 2019.

In 2016, B-Hoff left the band and was replaced by (expired link). which brings a different level of precision and fury to The Noctambulant’s unique sound. About The Noctambulant
Melodic Black Metal from Jacksonville, FL. The Noctambulant's music is melodic black metal that still maintains the hard edge tradition of the genre's European roots.
The Noctambulant is the creation of two veteran musicians of the Jacksonville music scene, Eddie Helvete and D. Franseth. While playing in other bands, they discovered a similar love of Black Metal and The Noctambulant was born. Since then Chris Bhoff (lead guitar) and Lars G (Bass) were added to bring the solid foundation which allows the drums and vocals to blend and create the unique sound of The Noctambulant.
The Noctambulant means night walker, a fitting title for a musical group steeped heavily in the darker side of metal. In the fall of 2013, The Noctambulant released the 'Dreams of Rotten Silence EP' on Itunes and other online outlets. This EP features four original songs of pure modern Black Metal.
February 2014 saw the release of their followup EP, 'The Fear Leader' and the subsequent tour in support of it.
