I've been driven off of a bridge which landed on the lower freeway, my friends I were unharmed as well as the car. I was also in a Head On Collision at 50 miles an hour. I broke my Sternum. I could not breath for over 8 minutes. White as Baby powder but I would not lay down or close my eyes. Street Gang Brawler and more. But the amazing thing is. I have not One Scar. Why? "BECAUSE GOD KEPT ME"!!! And I said that just to say this... If He did it for me?? He Will do it for You! He loves us all. And he's allowed me to share my experiences with you through my music.. I AM THE PIONEER OF POSITIVE HIP HOP INSPIRATIONAL MUSIC!! Born in Norfolk Va. Maurice Melton given the nickname of “ICE CUBE” in '68 by family one year before his journey to Anchor Town,this would be the beginning of his music (expired link) grew up in Grandy (expired link) '69, his family moved to Anchorage, (expired link) first breakthrough in music came in '77 as a DJ,where the House Party Fanatic,Rap Addict received major Hip Hop (expired link) 84 the King of the Hood formed a group called the Cold Spell (expired link) 88-90 he performed with Public Enemy,(expired link) Underground,The Real Roxanne & other major Hip Hop (expired link) 1993 he received recognition for his album CSG & in '95 his single FOR THE BROTHA’S THAT AINT HERE touched the heart’s of many who lost loved one’s due to Black on Black Drug related incidents, CSG attempted to bring Love & Peace back to the Black Community starting where he was raised, in (expired link) dropped the first positive Hip Hop video ever made in Anchorage, (expired link) was also the beginning of his notoriety as a figure in Gospel when in '97 he released THE SOON & COMING KING featuring vocalist Nancy (expired link) talent as a writer & poet have been the driving force for him since the age of 14. In '01 he released another hot single titled OFF THE HIZZY After taking a musical break after the loss of his father & 2 brothers, CSG bounced back on the scene in 2009 with a fatty hot track titled AINT SLIPPED A BITT! In 2010 his hit single ONE OF A KIND dealt with relationships & how a King should treat his (expired link) in 2011 the long awaited album THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW is about to be released and the single TAKE ME AWAY is burning up the Hip Hop chart’s with a positive message for the music world to quickly grab hold & keep forever!What the future holds for this faith filled,dynamic writer,poet & rapper?
