Good vibe

I really like your song, it has a Tragically Hip (reference for music) / The Doors (the voice, cool how you sound like Jim) vibe, combined with cool lyrics. I must say that originality might not be your biggest asset, but you manage to keep us interested and enjoyed all through the song, which is essentially what music and entertainment is about. Keep on rocking guys!

Heavy Classic Rock Influence

What a heavy Classic Rock influence! I hear the Bad Company, the Stones and some Southern Rock overtones. Not a bad tune, drummer has a good groove. One of the guitars sounds like it might be a little out of tune. The tune doesn't inspire too much, but feels like it would be solid in a driving mix... just one of those tunes to play while the miles roll on by. Vocals sounds a bit more like Lemmy Kilmister - not really my cup of tea, but I know he's pretty popular with other folks.

This Ain't the Summer of Love

I dig this track. The guitars have a Screaming Trees kind of vibe and energy. The arrangement is solid and standard, which is rare these days. We all know that Florida has something in the water that pushes musicians like these forward. The fundaMentals is a good band that I imagine keep their audiences happy and energized. Keep up the good work.

Review of "The fundaMentals" This Ain't The Summer of Love-

Over-all a great mix....great lead (strings), but my problem was the string rythem of the song which completely reminded me of "Jumping Jack Flash" as soon as it started. I loved the lyrics, and the vocal delivery of the tune, as the singer has a great style his own. I would have rated it higher for the caliber of the track over-all, but as said that hard rythem just stuck with me, and kind of ruined the song for me.... Respectfully Dave/CHRONIC PAIN

Artist rendering

The fundaMentals have sent me a request to review their song "This Ain't The Summer of Love" they're asking "Give us an honest review". OK you asked for it. The tracks are good. The overall mix is good. It sounds to me like someone in "The fundaMentals" is into the Rolling Stones. Only thing I hear on this tune "This Ain't The Summer of Love" that sorta kinda annoys me, is the drums are to loose. I personally feel that the "The fundaMentals" should tighten up, Hey this is their song! This is maybe how "The fundaMentals" wanted their song "This Ain't The Summer of Love". Artist rendering...Rock On!

Rocking Tune

Hey I'm really Digging your sound. Sounds very back to the good old days of Rock. Easy to follow, and fun to listen too. You guys sound like a fun party band. Love the sound of the Guitars, putting out that loud, cranking sound. You ROCK! Keep up the great tunes. Listening here in NC. Sincerely Edward Westbrook (Atomic Energy Society)

Hi

You are Very close to run in to The Big Problem...I mean COPYRIGHT Problem..My advise to You make SURE that all is ok..This song is to close to something Very Famous ..You have to remember that You are allow ONLY 4 bars of someone song to use .I do not like You to be in some kind of trouble..it is a nice recording but again to me is not original work...so for this reason I do not think Radio Stations will use it ( without some without clearance from Copyright office ).. same goes for Music Publishers ( most of Them as by Law Firm Submission ).. I wish You a good luck..

Starts out like

Starts out like a motley crew single and that made me think to myself right this has been done done before and then I’m going on to the lyrics are reminding of some blue oyster cult stuff but this definitely threateningly intimidating and kinda wants to hang a dark cloud of karma I can’t use.frontman is some old cult type gravel start to finish with no personal heart felt emotional contribution which was probably the intention so in that I’m saying it is an unfinished bare basic rock hair band blues crossover tune that was asking tom petty for the help that can never happen. Title kinda bothered me too as its overreaching due to lackluster salesmanship the bands preformance was everything right but nothing special to someone who doesn’t drink heavily or have an ax to grind with society would much care for as the vibe is darker in nature than some people like . It’s an excellent bar tune that is going to come on like gang busters for anyone who misses the nostalgia vibe . Ps don’t send a goon squad after me for being a guy who grew up in Motown from gitgo knowing a classic when I hear one this one needs some big tweaking if you expect it to big chart beyond your local artists and partying friends.

I Liked It!

Couldn't help but hear "Jumpin' Jack Flash" in there every time those power chords came up, but you put your 'own' spin on it and that's what I liked about it. The lead guitar on top of it was 'Great' and it just made it Rock right along. I like the way the lyrics had a Dylan feel to it, and that sweet Bass line was 'crazy' cool. Would've loved to have given you that '5' but the Stones thing knocked it down. Maybe if you were to add chord 'up' instead of hitting it straight twice, it might change it some. Just a thought....I wish you loads of Luck on your Music adventure at N1Music, my friends.....Gizzmow, Bonham, Texas ` ROCK ON!
