Song Reviews

I Liked It!

I had to listen to it twice to grab it all cause the Bass and Drums had me hooked the first time on the speakers. Then with the headsets on I could hear the guitars a lot better which all around got you my '5' rating. Great job on 'everything' especially the groove the Bass and drummer have going on. Hat's off to your drummer with the Chad Smith style but 'his' own...and the Bassist reminded me of Flea a bit. The guitars in the laid back, background was excellent and they were not up front over powering them is something hard to do 'Live'. ~ Again....Great job! Nicely done! ~... gizzmow, Bonham, Texas ROCK ON!

Good stuff

For some reason, I love the song called We Both. First of all it's simple, which in my view equals sincerity. In the long run the rock music had seen many a style of any kind, but guess what? It all boils down to simplicity and being more or less from the heart. Being true, that's what it's all about these days. Sort of approach to the task of presenting oneself to the world. I find it cool.

Sweet

An interesting piece of music it's got a massive sound and tonal quality even if the mix is quite raw. But that's me nitpicking. The track itself is really good. I'd love to hear other stuff you've worked on. One of the sections of the track that really speaks to me is the sweet chorus. It pumps. There's also some inspiring rhythmic components you've used that I'm finding really captivating. I'm interested to hear where this can go with your next piece. Thanks for sending me the request for the review I think you're gonna do great things.

No need to suffer

Helpful

Good sound of harder rock! Sound is good and clear. Song is mixed well and it is in balance. This is suitable rock track with also enough catchy melody and hooks to keep your attention. Also speaker voice suits this song, vocalist has a good rock voice and atmosphere reach "suffering" feeling, but in a good way. This track can be recommended those who knows and prefers original rock stuff like I do!

80's-90's groove blend

Nice blend of 80's rock ballad and 90's rock grove. Not really sure about the interlude, the vocal was overpowered by the music. Bass tones were tight, very cool chorus sections with the layered vocals.

Good band from 90´s

The sound has a nice energy and the musicians are amazing. Good choice to enjoy. They need to improve the music production to achieve a better impact. but. even so, I can garantee that they they done agood job.

Good attitude

This is of course some kind of root music we deal with regarding the Diligents. It might be argued this had been attempted so many times before by so many folks in music, but let's talk some straight talk here: these days almost anything has been thoroughly endeavored and tried in any possible combination and approach. Having done all that a query arises: what do we have here in the end? I'll tell you what: the traditional rock style, that's what it's all about here. This is what turns out to be the best way to do music.

cheese steaks

"The Diligents" have sent me a request to review their song "Suffering". Sometimes, I will find out later that the artist never sent a request to be reviewed and that Number One Music has sent out an algorithm. Well, "The Diligents" say they Recorded "Suffering" at home on a Roland VS880 in the late 90's. I don't know if they meant the age of the Roland VS880 or the date of the recording? Good tracks, all 8 of them, all audible and in your face. Nice power trio... what I would like to know, are the cheese steaks any good in Elmer, NJ?

Not Bad

This song is better than a lot of music on numberonemusic. it is a little rough around the edges but that's ok. I can't hear the dialogue in the middle of the song properly and I think there is a little too much distortion on the electric guitar but I'm just being fussy. On the plus side the slap bass is really good and suits the song. All in all not a bad effort. keep up the good work.

Suffering ... but only for the result of the audio

Authentic alternative rock of the nineties era. Too bad that the production of the audio does not do it justice because it impoverishes a great very precise instrumental/vocal performance and the depth that the song requires. These guys know very well what they do and they do it really well. They should consider a better result in the mix and the master next time because they have very good compositions and ideas. Great band of course.

Interesting

Once the music really kicks in, it sounds powerful. I like the sound of the instruments. Good recording, as you can hear each part clearly. Almost has a sound of the band Triumph, at least somewhat. Really good song guys. I think with the right production, it could expand your sound, in a good way. Don't take that as a cut, it's just we all could use better production at times. Overall, very well done. Sincerely Edward Westbrook "Atomic Energy Society"

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song throwing back to the 90's sounds of angry little entitled babies, which kick it into high gear with some killer guitars and finally vocals that grow well into a power house.

Interestng

There is an honesty in the music that shines through, but the production is a little off on the mix. The bands sound is reminiscent of simple minds with a slight grunge edge. I like the middle breakdown section stop with the bass and the talking sample instead of just having a guitar solo by tradition so to speak.
