Great tune

Well done! Great tune - great layering of instruments with different textures and colours. Rich vocals that is wonderful to listen to - the lyrics create a beautiful story and I love the chord progression. I really enjoyed the guitar work too! Keep up with the fabulous songwriting :)

Eagle Mountain Rose

This song tells a beautiful story of an Odyssey of true love during a turbulent time. I really enjoyed the guitar and percussion. The vocalist has a great tone and excellent timing. I have to say it is more country than I expected. The female vocalist in the second part of the song was an unexpected welcome surprise. Excellent electric guitar riffs too! She has a unique tone to her voice akin to Tammy Wynette. I think you would have a big gig following here in the U.K. so why not come for a tour?

Finally a professional level production worthy reviewing!

Finally, I stumbled upon this song worth reviewing out of the countless number of really subpar level productions on this site. It is really not easy to find good quality productions from truly professional level musicians, writers… etc. So lets review this song. For me it sounds exactly what it is, a well produced country pop or country rock song with excellent, professional vocal and recording quality, nice airy harmonies and instrumentation as it should be for a professional production. Even if this is not my genre of music that I produce, good music is good music and that is all that matters when it is about music, thus I am very happy to give this a 5 star rating especially after hearing the many awful productions I had to struggle through, this song suddenly hit me like fresh crystal clear air or like a bright Sun ray out of a very dark cloudy sky of hopelessness. All in all congrats for this song, it was refreshing to listen to it and gave me back my hope. Thank you!

The Antique Harmoniums

`Eagle Mountain Rose' presents a well balanced well constructed composition. Deeply though out story and lyric line. Really good harmonies and strong lead vocals This song has considerable potential in the commercial marketplace. Worth listening to and worth the time investment for on-air personalities. Perhaps a good sale to any established performers.

Awesome Just Awesome!!

Exceptional is this song that just blew me away! I got the unexpected. I am a big fan of yours so I thought I knew what I was getting into when I hit play. To describe my notions: By the end of the song when the two voices came together reinvented everything I thought I knew. Great song, well put together, Inspirational, Beautiful. 5 STARS on all points of the register! Great.

Mate , what a great voice. The music is nice and tight. Love the mix the way the bass and drums are working together. I really can't say any more except how totally professional this song sounds. I am looking forward to hearing more from you. cheers Rick.

Big Sound!

What a terrific song! That Great Big Sound that one would expect from Texas! I thoroughly enjoy listening to anything from Texas, especially Fort Worth! You do the Lone Star State Proud! I love the Vocal Dynamic, and the interplay of the two front Vocalists. I don't like to read the Bios of other Bands before I listen to the tunes, But now I'll have to go check this Bio out! Great Job! & Best of Luck!

Great opening. The mix is clean and clear. I really enjoy the instrumentation. Great older Nashville kind if sound. I enjoy the lard vocals but would like more harmonies. I really like what the female vocals added later. Guitar solo was nice. Overall the song is a bit long for radio play but enjoyable for fans, I am sure. Would like to hear more from the tamale vocalist.

An efficient progressive rock song

The rythm is powerfull supported by a loud drumtrck and a rythm guitar. The tags are true, it is really a rock song, in the progressive style. I just feel the voice tune a little be too soft or clear (shy?) for this type of song. Usually, the singing is much more rough. The guitar tune is good to me, but I would have add a reverb effect or something like that. The wole is quite common, anyway, it's, like always with THA, a great work, perfectly accomplished!

Hello from Jerzy

I like the vocal ,, but song not so much to Me is to plain,,will be great if You make a better melody up and down and in some point take it UP HIGH...also is to long for Radio Play..it is my opinion that it has to be rearranged and rerecorded with some changes...as now is ok to be played on concerts but I do not think that Music Publishers will love it...good luck with it and I wish You a Success...

Nice voice!

Wow, the musical intro really drew me in to listen longer! I’m so glad I did! The vocalist is excellent & the production is awesome. My only suggestion would be to shorten the solo, bring The female vocalist in sooner also. It needs a longer tender breakdown moment. Make it more radio friendly, as a 6 minute song in today’s marketplace won’t get any airplay. Gotta keep it under 4 minutes, & under 3 1/2 is ideal! But really, congrats on a beautiful track!

Artist Review

First I would like to say you both have a great voice. Some of the harmonies were a touch off but all in all its a nice sounding tune. Its not a country tune as you would find in todays market though.

great sounding track

It's a great sounding track. Really good recorder (must be a big studio), but there's missing something, what make's the music more interesting, it sounds pretty slick, more to general. It's the most difficult part of making music, to make it way out of something new, something that has never been heard. Sorry guys, it's sounds to straight. All the musicians are great, they are professionals, but that's about it. Please do something strange something weird, no matter what.

I like the tempo on the beat, great voice good song it's not my usual, but i know good music when I hear it.it's very long tho and you might consider shortening it up a bit maybe bring the lady in the song sooner than just at the end other than that it sounds good quality everthing is clear.

definitely in the country pop vein. Very vocal driven song which is good when you have a voice like the folks in this band. Musically its a very well constructed tune..great backing vocals and a very well produced. I guess what it boils down to is it memorable and would I buy it. Not sure where the eagle mountain rose part comes in...cause I didn't pick it out. It is definitely radio ready. I'm sure this band has tons of fans but ultimately it is not something I would buy

I liked this effort from start to finish. The tracks were right on and mixed very well. The vocals were delivered exactly right to the mood of the song. They had both energy and emotion. The only thing I would add as a suggestion is to shorten the music bridge. It loses some of the mood of the song in my opinion due to its length. One last thing, I didnt follow the lyric continuity sometime. I didnt understand some of what they were trying to convey. All in all i liked it and i would buy it. Best of luck with it.
