As a child who grew up in the church, Steve was always given to music and ministry. It was therefore no surprise when decided to do full time music ministry later in life. Steve Stoddart affectionately called Zamar, received 2 nominations at the 2008 Canadian Covenant Music Awards (Canada's most prestigious Gospel Music Award) for his album "Reggae Praise." Reggae Praise also received the award for the Best Gospel Reggae Album 2008 at the (expired link). Awards. In relentless pursuit of his God given purpose, Steve Stoddart aka Zamar released a follow-up album entitled "Life" in 2010. This cutting-edge project received 3 nominations at the Canadian Covenant Music Awards and won the award for the Best Gospel Album.
Steve Stoddart aka Zamar is an authentic gospel reggae artiste filled with passion for the Lord, people and music. His music has cross social barriers and has influenced many to follow Christ. His loyal fans await his upcoming album The Way which will be released Summer 2017.
