AwesomeVery raw! Classic sounds (for the most part). Great changes throughout. You didn't let it get like trance (don't care much for that). Have you considered doing vocals? Effects these days can cover up if you're not happy nor ready. (Could just have a phrase/chorus. Just an idea.) Very good!! Hope you keep it going.
...and dance!Very interesting theme with many nuances dance of the old school. A few more bpm and we would have a super hit of the best dancefloors. the atmosphere takes me to the times of the first hardware secuencers.
Bouncy BitsArpeggios begin this track with pads and gated riffs. The composition progresses with the introduction of the four by four beat that introduces the main verse melody. The frequency space is somewhat cluttered by the selection of the preset for the main melody. The utilization of backing pads as opposed to the arpeggiated note would eliminate some of this frequency competition that is apparent. The last 25% of the track does just this! :)
My reflection on "New steps new direction"Hi friend, First of all, sincerity. I value your work a lot, although I have to tell you that trance music is not what motivates me the most. But obviously if there is something undeniable is the good taste in the composition and post production. So, my assessment is positive and I congratulate you for your good work within that line. ;-)
