Sad Juicees

Hey all. Quick update. The Sad Juicees have been focusing on our upcoming show. We also have a show coming up at a Block by Block festival in the spring/summer (date tbd) in Sacramento. We've been writing lots of new material and we're about halfway through our 2nd album; plan to release it sometime this year. Thanks for all the support, come out and see us if your nearby, cheers!

So it's been a busy summer. We just got done recording 3 songs in the studio which will be on our 2nd album coming out towards the end of this year. So the band has made some changes of personal lately. We now have a new drummer & bassist, both very talented. The last show was at Shine, and it went very well, although, it will take a few shows for our new lineup to really start to gel. I'm very excited about the possibilities this summer. We r going to start recording our first LP, and I'm going to do some screen printing for band T-shirts. These will b available at our shows. Our next show is at Naked Coffee here in Sac for all of those who can make it on May 24, please come out & support us, we love to see our fans come out. As an incentive to draw out our fans, we'll b giving away a free T-shirt to all those who can make it. We'll continue to write new songs and work towards playing bigger venues. Hey all,
Just a quick update. For the upcoming year, The Sad Juicees will be going through some transitions. We will be bringing in a new drummer. We anticipate this to be a year of more shows than last year, since we r beginning to grow a fan base & doing more networking with local venues. Also, we will b putting out a number of new songs. For the next 2 weeks I will b working with an old friend of mine on a couple of singles which I hope to put out towards end of Jan or Feb. Happy Holidays to all, thanks so much for ur support.

We are the Sad Juicees. We are currently a 3 piece band out of Sacramento. We've been together going on 6 months now. The context of our songs mostly relate to personal events in our lives or issues that we feel passionate about & would like to share through music, since that's the best way we know how. We like to mix it up with different styles, but it's primarily alternative rock & experimental music. We are currently looking to get booked at least once a month for shows in Sac and surrounding areas. Our schedule is flexible & we're not looking to get rich, just want to share our passion.
