My name is Greg Smith A.K.A Rootlezz. I was born in the parish of St Thomas in Jamaica. My hobbies are singing, playing football and watching sport. My first interest in music was at the age of 13 years old and it came after listening to one of Bounty Killer's song on the radio. Since then my love and passion for music grew continuously and became stronger over the years. I have never stopped pursuing and promoting my music career since then. My first time singing with a mic was on a sound system called Super C. My friends hear my flow and loved it. They all thought I should pursue a music career because I have a talent and my energy was electrifying. I performed on numerous stage shows both in Jamaica and in the UK. My performances are mostly in the UK. I have performed in Camden, Croydon, Lewisham,Catford and Islington. My biggest performance was in Cat ford on People's Day where I performed in front of at least 400 people. They all loved my energy I brought on stage while performing .I was very overwhelmed with the vibes and receptions that came from the audience. I have worked with a few producers throughout the years which helped me to perfect my music in terms of delivering perfection. Now I make and produce my own music. My goal is to become more efficient in the music industry and I aspired to become one of the biggest icons like Bob Marley, Shaggy, Bounty Killer and Sean Paul.
