Rick Line / Signs Along the Road / All These Different Roads

Unique country rock ballad

Great mixture of acoustic rock influenced by country music and strictly drum beat. The unique vocals from Rick Line underlaid with a gently piano enriching the mood. The lyrics sounding like a story from the heart and touching the soul. The melancholic feel makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. But the whole song is more various. The introducing starts off with soft chords of an acoustic guitar. The accompaining e-guitar is an extra factor and brings additionally beauty into the music. The harmonically melodies inspired by hawai guitar sound are fantastic arranged and creating a nice space in the backround. I like the engaging beat of the drums on the point. Sounds simple especially in the bridge but this extra factor brings more power into the song. The arrangement is definitely professional, good mixed and overall perfect mastered. Fantastic played guitars have the main role in this music and increases the tunes. This song is from a musician who understand to give an account in words about someone or something, including all relevant characteristics, qualities, or events. I´m sure you will also like to add it. Let others know your recommedation.

Laid back classic ????

I love the beat the voice is very good and tells a story of how life's has many turns of up and down. Facing with difficult times we have in today's age. It's very hard.but we keep strong push our self and learn from it . we will make. Keep up the good work. And always keep father God and brother Jesus in your life and music. Because that's where it's at. Yours truly LS Lighter Shade

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the soft piano and organ work. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. Enjoyed the entire work. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Balada elegante...

Review - Rick Line - All These Different Roads - By LaSueede

Nice Acoustic Guitar Intro and Good, professional studio Recording. Find piano layer when the singing begin. The drums sounds maybe a little synthetic, Midi. The bass is nice and driving the song. A believe your voice is better in a little higher notes like in the refrain than in the verses it can almost loose a tune (first verse). Really nice chorus with the background layer on the song. Good song and professional studioing and recording. The lyrics is ok maybe little cheesy.

BRICKS IN THE WALL

Strange title for a review, I know, but it got your attention didn't it! That's what I wanted to do, reach out to you. As to a brick wall, well building one is a lot more difficult than you might think. It takes skill and attention to detail. Song writing is like that. Combining lyric vocals and the music is not a simple thing. It takes time to learn the process and develop the skill. And even after you achieve a measure of success at the craft, you must have a natural born talent to pull it all together and have a musical composition that people will want to listen to. It is my opinion that Rick Line has developed his skill well, and his song, "ALL THESE DIFFERENT ROADS" is a good tune and has something to say to everybody. Good job Rick!

Not bad

I love the acoustic sound as well as the collaborations also. Bring the vocals Down A bit and compression would really help but over all its a cool song well writen musicly and lyrics is very meaning full keep writing

yes

All These Different Roads review. this is a strictly Rock Ballad piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock Ballad style as I said everything recalls the Rock Ballad genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock Ballad piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

nice song

Hi Rick. Nice song. I might have reviewed it before, but as I am a fan of yours; here I go again. This song is by far one of the best I've ever heard on N1M... It's a song with wisdom in it, sense, sensibility and... a huge amount of passion. GREAT lyrics, GREAT instrumentation/recording, GREAT composition. Actually, the only bad thing you can say about it is that you pronounce the words a bit difficultly. But I have somewhat the same problem: I'm Belgian and I speak originally Dutch... But my music is sung in English. I'm glad that you call yourself a songwriter, 'cause you really know how to compose according to the rules of the trade ! This song is worthy of being played on the radio. Definitely. Is Angelina your daughter, or a close relative of yours ? As music should be mystification mostly, you perform a great job on generating this in me ! I'm very curious for more of your music and please check mine: N1M search: spiceypete Greetings. All these different roads

Arrangement: Nice intro with double guitars playing back and forth. Then comes the piano, lending a tasteful variation to the arrangement. I like the way the piano part is used in the middle, hauntingly melodic. Well done! Lyrics: A nicely written story of philosophical introspection. Vocals: Strong and clear. Good lead postion without being overpowering. The harmony vocals blend well to enhance the overall ambience. Mix: This is a nice mixture of all the instruments being well placed within the framework of the song. Drums are nice and laid back, giving a nice tempo and small flouishes here and there. Everything is crisp and clear but not harsh. Nice! I look forward to hearing more from this artist. Donivan.

Which road, which song

Nice easy listening start, I like your soft vocal, the piano underpins the song well. The finally made it line (hook) took the song onto another level for me thought I recognised to from an older pop song so it has pop appeal, Angeline is also interesting wondered if you might have given that to the song title. I see two songs intertwined, which makes it interesting as a twist and turn road. Coming into land tells me flying cars, rocky road, maybe narrow road ? Thank you for the song.

Gradually gets it

Your song started off kind of slow but you finally got to the road to find your zone. I really like the concept of this tune and how the lyrics are true to the song. That makes listening to this song worth the suffering at the beginning. Now that I know what to expect I'm not near asleep at the beginning. I recommend listening to this song twice before judging! You have a good voice too! 5 stars for you!

bonita

Bonita canción, buena melodía y buena interpretación. Todo suena bien, los instrumentos, los coros y la voz, interpretado con sobriedad y elegancia, además de en su justa medida. Buena interpretación y buena canción. Nice song, good melody and good interpretation. Everything sounds good, the instruments, the choirs and the voice, interpreted with sobriety and elegance, as well as in its proper measure. Good interpretation and good song.

THE FIRST CHOICE

I REALIZE THAT THERE ARE MANY ROADS A NAN COULD TAKE, BUT ONLY TO LOOK AT JESUS AND TO TRY TO ACCEPT HIM AS BEING THE PERSON THAT HE IS {BORN FROM A WOMAN MARY WHO IS NOT A LIAR,} BORN BY GOD'S SPIRIT, WHO WAS NOT AND IS NOT A HUMAN....I HOPE YOU FIND YOUR WAY IN BELIEVING THAT JESUS IS THE CORRECT PASSAGE TO GET TO HEAVEN

Pop and Soft Rock at it's best

A kind of cross over between Pop and Rock - but whatever you call it, it's great. Rick produces another song with all the right marks: Professional arrangement and recording and as the solid platform - a strong composition, exciting tunes and a good, meaningful story. Listen and be happy - I do. Every time!
