The complete packageRick Denzien's medium-rock recording of "Go Out and Play" is the complete package of what I look for in music. The band -- drums, bass, keys, and eletric guitar -- is tight, the song is well-written, the lyrics are meaningful, and the vocals are well-sung. Listening to these lyrics is like watching an episode of Black Mirror, with the images they stir in my mind, and the advice to "go out and play" couldn't be better advice, in the face of the malicious influences of 21st century life.
HiThis is an Idea for a Song and a lot of work must be done..arrangement , vocal..is always a good idea if Singer stay in tune..
Go Out and PlayHallo Rick ich hab mir den Track mehrere male angehört das Ding hat einen echt gute Groove der zum tanzen annimiert der Mix ist richtig klasse .Geile Gitarren gespielt und die Voices very very optimal gemixt thank you for listen
Impressive Rock Song with clear messageThat rocks! Solid intro with acoustic-guitar and smooth drums including a melodic bass-line puts one into the right mood. But the song is more various. The drums changing immediately the beat and going on more engaged. The unique vocal projection from Rick Denzien brings more feeling into the song. The lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul. The chorus is the message and make the meaning of the song engaging for me. Fantastic solo on the distortioned e-guitar after transition into the bridge making the music rich and brings the listener on the next level. Great backing melody of hamond sounding keys and additional e-guitar as an extra factor makes the song lively and creative. Also the mixing and mastering is professionell. In many ways sounds this recording more creative than others. All instruments are exactly there where they must be on a track of this studio quality and really stand out. Powerful arrangement influenced by acoustic rock and contemporary music in perfect orchestration. I can´t stop listen to this song and I´m sure you like to add him, too. Let others know your recommendation.
Nice feeling in this songThis is a song between softrock and pop and a very nice hook. The guitar, the voices and all the arrangement is nice and this is a song I want to hear on the radio. The balance between onstruments and voise is almost perfect, You are a good lead singer and with the ability to write a song that suits almost everybode. Congratulations, I want to hear more from you. Rick Line/Sweden
REview Rick Denzien - Go Out and play - LaSueedeThe start was pretty ok with Guitar and some electronics. The singing is a little out of tune. The guitar is the hero of the song. The bass and the drums do its job. The lyrics sound ok. There was a good guitar solo in the song and a mix of instruments in the background. The sound was good. So it is a nice studio recording. The message in the song was a little unclear. Now is english my second language but still i usually get it direct. Anyway hang in there. Some fixing with the singing then it gets better
In MY OpinionGreetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning anothers creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the sound of the organ in the background and great guitar work.. Vocals are smooth and clear. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. Make you want to get up dance. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny
Go Out And PlayHi Rick, thankx for the review request. This is a great driving song with loads of underscored power. The bass is very dominant, and drives the song all the way through to the end. The instrument mix is also on the button, as is the playing. The guitar solo fits perfectly, with great riffing interplay towards the end, that part of the song adds to its immense pulling power, as does the vocal harmonies, which lift the song just that much more. The only adjustment i would have put into the song is on the vocals, they need just a tad more treble to make them clearer and more concise. But all in all, a very good and driving song, which i reckon would do well on radio, it has broad appeal - sooo - keep on creating and recording good music. .
Good songI like the song... its easy to listen to. I lke the beat also The song has a nice intro, with some cool keys arrangements. In my opinion I would make it shorter, but its a nice tune. It has a cool eletric guitar solo at the end. Very nice work,
Interesting rhythmThis song is energetic but relaxing too. You must be more self-confident, because you're an interesting artist. The text isn't so good as the music. Continue to work so. You can do good things.
GREAT SOUNDING TRACKWhen I first played this track it struck a chord with me it is very up lifting and could well be a single as it is strong enough and I also would add it could be a great song for a movie and that would get it into a Comp Album and earn you good royalties. It is very Radio Friendly and I could see it gain lots of airplay on a National level,so good luck with it Rick and I hope to hear some more great music from you very soon.
