Hard as nails, lightning fast bluegrass! The ensemble like it is today has played together since autumn 2006.
Geir Garmo (banjo, guitar, vocals), Leif Tangstad (up-right bass, vocals), Robert "Bru-rish mountain" Braathen (dobro, guitar, vocals), Edda Johanna Jonsdottir (fiddle) and Cato Holmen (mandolin, vocals) -all based in Oslo, Norway. Mainly inspired by 30's and 40's "high lonesome mountain music," generally in the genres bluegrass and folk, but also country and gospel. The set list contains some own songs, but mostly songs from old and former artists like Flatt & Scruggs, good ol´ Hank, The Carter Family and Kentucky Colonels etc. just to mention a few. Hoowdeeeee neighbours!
