My wife Debi has a way of getting right down to what really matters most, and crystallizing it in a few words. Debi's father was a country-western singer who dubbed himself The Texas Drifter (because it had more of a ring to it than his actual name), and she grew up hearing lots of country western and bluegrass, till she was pretty tired of it. She wanted to be a rocker. So when God started singing this song in her inner ear, she resisted writing it -- because it's bluegrass. This song has ended many a concert on a happy note, and can end many a life on a happy note. In fact, I have lost count of the number of folks who have asked us to play and sing this tune at the funeral of a loved one, and that's one of the highest honors ever, for a Christian musician.
