Pedro Alsama hails from Lisbon Portugal but sings in English. This really is a haunting and memorable track. Pedro is an emotional, alternative rock / folk rock artist. The song has a simple back beat and acoustic guitar rhythm with some interesting synthesiser effects thrown into the mix. There are some very clever use of backing vocals to create texture and the song has an almost hymn like quality. if you need a further reference point I would suggest former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel. One of the best tracks I have heard on NumberOneMusic in a while. Check it out.
