Time to relect on life and all our blessings. I know, for myself, these days have been very trying with fires so close to burning down my house. It has been music that has kept me positive. I do my best to create beautiful music and flow it out into the world. It is my intention to help others feel peaceful and to find beauty in their lives.

I composed this song for my nephew, Michael, who passed away at age 19. He was a wonderful musician and athlete.
This video my fan, Kelsey Goldberg, created for the song. I think she captured in pictures the spirit of Michael.

Michael touched my soul with his life. I hope this music and video does the same for you.

In the heat of summer it's sometimes hard to get motivated to go that piano and practice, practice, practice. But, I've found that if I keep a little log-book by my piano where I write in the start and end times of my practicing, it becomes a little game for me. I want to beat the amount of time I spent the day before and so I push a little harder to perfect whichever piece of music I'm working on. The result? I get better and better as a pianist/performer and I'll be ready to do concerts when it's time.

Thanks so much for being one of my Subscribers on Numberonemusic. I'm enjoying being a part of this network and I enjoy listening to new music all the time. I find your music an inspiration for me to create even more.

I endeavor to capture the deeper emotions through my music. Two of my favorite compositions are: "Song For Michael"( which was formerly titled "Reflections" and was performed by the Baltimore Symphony) and "A Quiet Walk through the Snow."
