Uploaded "Young Man" a new unreleased song by SOMNEA, an up and coming young R&B artist Producer from the New Orleans Lafayette area, and a Loyola University Alumnus, former Black Circuit Band member in the local New Orleans music scene who is finalizing his first full length album 'soon' to be released. 2015 Texas Tejano ROOTS 'Hall of Fame' and Museum inductee in Alice, Texas

Hope 'everyone' is enjoying their New Year in some way/shape/form or other. I've been waiting 15 days to write this 'New' News Letter and to post my daughter's YouTube video doing a Bonnie Raitt song "Love Me Like a Man". Last time I didn't know that it 'had' to be uploaded from the Tube, and found out too late that I couldn't upload it from my personal files. So, this time it should appear at the Top of this News Letter when I post it. Check it out when you get the chance.
I also uploaded another song to make it now 70 on the list. It's a song by the Rolling Stones that I use to play with my brother at juke/joint lounges in and around Dallas called "It's All Over Now". We may have been a little drunk when I recorded it with him. That's me on guitar and Rocky singing. By the way, Rocky will be going into the link. this coming Monday, the 28th for open heart surgery and will be laid up for about 5 weeks. He's mad cause he likes to go fishing on the weekends and this will keep him off the lake. Thoughts for Rocky ~

Hope 'Everyone' is having a Fantastic NEW Year like I've been having the last few weeks. I've got a BIG surprise for everyone with the first upload of the year. It's a video of my daughter Yuli, singing a Bluesy Bonnie Raitt song "Love Me Like a Man". I hope it will post at the top of this News Letter. If it doesn't ...you can see and hear it by clicking on my Facebook link and you will find it there. Yes, I reactivated the FBk page 'only' because of this and some more that she will be doing in the near future. Don't forget to 'Like' the page and make that number go to 2.8M...while you're at it! The mailing list just keeps growing and growing everyday, with people from ALL over the World and here in the States and it warms my heart to see all 3.3k of you enjoying my music by the comments in your e-mails you send me when I read them in the mornings as I have my coffee.

2015 Texas Tejano ROOTS 'Hall of Fame' & Museum inductee in Alice, Texas

HEY! ~ What a Fantastic 2018 I've had here with you and I can't wait to start a 'new year' with you again. I've found a couple 'Acoustic' songs that I've uploaded to make the list grow now to 69. These 2 songs I recorded 'Live' with my bother Rocky when we use to do 'duo' thing in clubs in and around 1988 when I came off a Miller Lite/Pepsi tour. We played a few clubs for a while. 1st is a spoof of the song "Long Tall Texan" we called "Short Bad Meskin" and our take of the Beatles song "Back in the USSR". I have more songs I may upload later next year like Ray Charles's "Tell Me What I Say" and the Stones "It's All Over Now". But for now, enjoy these 2 uploaded. It's a bit rough on the edges because the technology wasn't as good as it is in today's world. The recorder picked 'me' up on guitar 'more' than the vocals and converting it to digital ain't much better and better than 'nothing'.
I've lost count of how many songs I've uploaded since I bought the Cassette2USB converter on-line. Some 30 or so? and it's still working as long as I don't over do it cause it might break, it being made mostly out of plastic. Don't want to get it too hot, so I just do 2 at a time. I've a couple hundred more in that stack for 'next' year. All depends on how many N1Music lets me post. I hope there's no limit...we'll find out soon and I'll let you know.

Looking at numbers now...At the start of '18 in January the Play counter started at 1,5Million and the Profile views at 1.3Million.

As of 'today' it's at over 2.4M 'Plays' and over 2.3M 'Views' and climbing. Will we see 3M on 'both' counters by this time Next Year??? Yes, for 'sure'.
