Awesome someVery nice song and great vocals man.loving the guitar playing too.cant wait to hear something else from you .you deffinatly will be heard and like by many fans I'm one of them so far .wish I heard this earlier
More cowbellThe song has potential. The bass fades out and the vocals go with it.on the master put more effort into the bass. Vocals..follow the Baseline. please don't take this the wrong way it's a good sign there is a pause at the beginning of the song, well near the beginning of the song I didn't time it out maybe a minute into it throw a walk down in there with the bass. It could be a good soundtrack for a TV show.
Review of "Walking on the sea (acoustic 2017)" by O-NYXI was thinking, cool, a nice quiet version (acoustic), of a song from a band I already enjoy....What I got was a wicked power acoustic song, a little heavier than I would have liked (just to hear a really acoustic sound from you guys)! As usual for O-NYX, a tight song, great lyrics, great percussion (esp. like the 'Congo's, sound), and they're string players don't disappoint (as usual). Over-all another great song from a great band! I'd like to add the 'mix' sounds great! Respectfully Dave MacDonald
very good songHi! Since you reviewed last time I am your fan..I personally like this song that will suit Latin tone this season more than Rock. it is a very good High-quality music and people who heard this song think that love this song good work thank you
O-NYX- Walking On The Sea- Reviewed by Eja SladeA 'stripped back' offering from the French masters, this is honest and real. Good playing, good vocal, and brave. Nice, precise percussion. That said, I have heard better from O-NYX. Maybe guys, spend a little more time on the arrangement? All I'm saying is you can give yourselves a better chance of really 'breaking through' with a little bit more attention to detail, you have what it takes, musically speaking. No doubt about it. This one is inoffensive, I would like to see you 'go for the jugular' a bit more. But it's a good song, keep going, you've got talent. Well done.
DopeAye beat is dope asf and great mixing done on track , so shout out to whoever your engineer was and keep doing your thang keep grinding keep putting in that hard work and stay consistent Keep doing your thang keep grinding non stop you definitely have potential and the talent is there continue to make that real music you doing and you gone make it fam that’s my opinion keep workin Follow my Instagram and twitter @king_james_on1
WalkingIts very nice . Not knowing much about your outfit I’ll try not to be overly critical. I think you can do better if want to but I’m thinking this the way you are going To play it. I can’t say the song is subdued because it goes all out . It is somewhat mellow and G rated and feels as your asking it to be alittle more but I could wrong. Arrangements are in place and clean enough. Song itself doesn’t touch me as a classic but still credible to listen to I’ve seen a lot better do a lot worse and I’ve seen a lot worse do a lot better. That being said you can keep attacking the game. You want what I want...✌????
Walking on the seaNice beginning. Good voice. Tune is nice and driving. Harmony is a little strange but does go with the song I like the song overall but not radio quality. Keep writing and keep having fun doing this. The bongos do livin up the song and give it a cool feel. I would recommend this song.
Walking on the seaArrangement: I like the way this song begins. A simple and steady rhythm, leading into some great guitar strumming along nicely. Good breaks and melodic sequences. The chorus is engaging. Vocals: The vocals are clear and strong, easily understood, not muddied or over processesd. simple is better! Lyrics: Nice. The artist has found the right combination of story telling with imagination and wit. Clever. Mix: Well done ! Kudos! Donivan
Heej :)))Nice song! We like the voice. We hope to hear more from you on number1music! Keep it up! For the same reason as you we’re here to review your song... we like rock ????. We’ll go on and listen to walking on the sea.
when do i wake upi like well i really like the imagine nation (maybe it put people in better moods) but this isn't something I would listen to with a lot of fans. you should search into some churches maybe inspirational though great work
very West Coast Style!Original song and musicians , but , for me, with a great influence by The West Coast of '75/'85. And this is a nice, beautiful thing. There are poetic harmonies and a very experience with music and live shows. Congratulations!
Review of Walking On The SeaOrganic Alt/Rock song drawing on roots and sounds from the 90's. I hear a Mix of Blind Melon and Jane's Addiction. Percussion track and bass sit nice in the mix. Vocals are mixed well and sound great! Keep on Rocking!
A different style this timeA pared down or stripped down O-NYX on this one. I like the bass on this, my compliments to the chef! But regardless of style or approach, all the usual O-NYX elements are there. Good song, playing and production.
Excellent musical workVery cool and ambient folk rock sound, very good recorded and produced. I like the harmonies and the song writing which follows the red line continuous to hold a tension till the end. Excellent musical work by the guitars and drums as well as the voice, which sounds beautiful and easy going. Everything's good here. Well done mixing and mastering. What else can I say? Keep on rocking!
