joy...

This has a very early 80's kind of sound. I would guess that the writer is a fan of joy division... maybe even something a little like xmal deutschland... really, a lot of bands from that time period seem like influences here. It was a cool period in music, one that I miss a bit. I wonder if something that is this much of a throwback to that time would have the power to pull younger generations to it...? Anyways, thanks for the memories.

Impressive indie sound and remarkable song!

Yeah - that rocks! All the way from stanza to the chorus accompained of brilliant rock-guitar sound and melodic bass lines, straight concentrated on the drums. That´s not simple especially in the fills and mark a professional bassist. The message of the lyrics makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. They kick the ass from all doubters and skeptics, who see art as a hobby and constantly nagging. "Learn something decent to earn much money!" Great work from the bassist and vocalist Patrik from the band Moongazer. The rough distortioned guitar from Benoit is virtous played and makes the tune more variuos. His imaginative transitions from the stanza to the chorus makes the song lively and creative. Powerful drums of the drummer Xavier puts one immediately into the right mood. His breaks increases this tune and is another extra factor. This trio rocks, influenced by indie rock of the 90´s tinged and new wave. Melodic compositions sounds professionell masterd and over all good mixed. Powerful arrangement and I can´t stop listen to this song. I´m sure, you like to add it, too. Let others know your recommendation.

Confusing but reaches his goal

A rather nice and soft voice supported by a guitar at The Edge suggests a rather quiet pop song but when comes the chorus, we find directly ourselves in an 80's garage style with a sustained and powerful rhythm. Very nice piece. I really like. I would have liked a better sound of the drums (sorry, I play some, that's why).

A star that shines

I like the feel and the vibe of the music. I like the quality of the sound of the song and the instruments. I think there needs to be more work and polishing on the vocals though to give it better quality so it can complement the music more effectively

Moongazer - A Star

Moongazer hail from Brest in Norhern France but perform this track in English. The band describe their music as alternative rock and this track A Star reminds me of very early eighties English New Wave bands like Magazine, Gang of Four and The Cure. I very much enjoyed this track and there is a lot to like from some simple, effective and interesting guitar work to the strong vocal performance. The track comes in at a very well constructed three minutes and thirty five seconds and is worth checking out for lovers of Indie style rock. I would love to hear the band sing in French too but this track shows protest music is alive and kicking in Europe. Check Moongazer out.

Many Emotions

The song begins with a hypnotic riff and soon falls into a rocky and heavy rock to return to the main riff of the song holding the listener to put weight and soon to take the listener to much I would like with now a stop subita and a vocalization returning with the second riff and weight again, can hear and have many emotions

Superstars

I really like this work. Has a very raw sound but still sounds professional. They instrumentation is on point also. My only concern would be the volume on the vocals. At times it felt like I was struggling to hear all your words clearly. Other than that this is a great piece of work. I look forward to hearing more from you. Keep up the great work and continue to be the superstars that you are.

B52’s taking me back

This song was very melodic and took me back in time to when I used to listen to the B-52s. I like the song and the musicianship was spot on. The voice to me reminded me of other acts of the 80s as well which is a good thing because the 80s rocked! I look forward to hearing some more music from moon Geiser as it was very interesting and different to hear a new artist. Good stuff my friends!

Mixture

The Percussion/drum track is very interesting but the Guitar on its own is too sharp & too distorted to the point of being unpleasant to the ears putting you off. It sounds better faster. the Vocals are a bit Genesis influenced, Not a bad track but need a better production

NICE

Love the intro- gets me in the mood right away. Love your singing! Love the acapella part. I'm a singer and voice teacher myself and enjoy a good job in that field :) I would love to hear a little sound process, maybe remix the song with someone who has an alternative/experimental approach. But that's a matter of taste. Good luck! Stav G
