Hi all, Summer show going well except some gear issues!!! New PA, new show, and last week , both had some issues. Crew sorted fairly quickly (had to play a song live with no track) Spent the morning at the gig with crew, new amp, new controller and.... New system controlling backing tracks. Just goes to show, no matter how much rehearsal is put in place something can always go wrong. Having a pro team supporting me made it un-noticeable to the audience, but load of after show and back stage analysis needed to find a solution. All done now, and tested. Nervously looking forward to the next show..mmmmmmm. Any way how are you guys? still listening? still sharing? of course you are. the new soul album has taken a back seat for a while, but all the band pats are laid down, its just me being fussy, and not happy with the mix so far, the arrangements are fine, but you know how it is with producers, I kind of want a live sound, not a studio sound but hey hey, wee'll find a happy medium I'm sure.
