Mihi / Indian boy / AmerindiansBoy (The Band Edition)

Progressive pop style

This song grabbed me right from the start! I just can say that I was surprised, when I immediately trying move to the beat. A great mixture of asian rock music with patterns in style of indie pop. I like the introducing melody from the e-guitar which further repeating in this song often but the whole arrangemend is more various. Powerful drums and versatile bass-line make this unique composition complete. That isn´t always easy because of the kick-stuff in this song and orchestration of different breaks, but the band together is sounding really professionell. Mihi´s unique voice and vocal projection brings really a funny feeling into the song. The lyrics comes from the heart and touches the soul. The refrain is the message and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. The instruments are precisely good played from the musicians of the band. Overall an extraordinary and very impressive song. I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

Hit on the radio

I like "Indian Boy" Good guitar riff (I still can not get it out of my head) I really like the work of the drummer as a counterpoint with the guitar. Very good battery cymbal game. Very good melodic line with a very fresh and energetic Voice! I think everyone who hears "Indian Boy" will start shaking their heads.

Indian Boy review

Hi, Thanks for the invite to review the song. Its nice to get and listen to music from different places and cultures, there is a tendancy to stick to what you know and like. Cant say I knew what all the lyrics are or were about. Sounded pretty poppy not sure where or what market you might be looking to get airplay, gigs of cd sales in but theres a lot of competition out there. What if you added some traditional japanese instruments to the songs just to make it a little bit different, might make it stand out a bit more. Good effort, feel free to send me some more material anytime and I will have a listen again. Good luck with everything.

boy from india?

Well now we have a song called Indian boy but if you don't speak Japanese you don't know where this Indian boy comes from. This could be a native American Indian boy for example living on a reservation in the Dakotas and getting very drunk all the time or this could be an Indian boy coming from India to Japan to hear Mihi in concert. It is possible the Indian boy has lost his parents and is an orphan. Or the Indian boy is the son of a Bollywood film producer and is very well off and is on his way to becoming a well known Bollywood star. This song is a great reminder that the same artist can produce totally different songs.

Divertida

Indian Boy Review

Interesting approach. Unexpected beginning and it continues throughout. It's very different and not really a groove I can get into. It feels like there is no anchor to the track, however there is a bit of a catchy nature to the song.

A Great Job on Indian Boy...

Mini, what a great job on the composition. The rhythm section is coordinated and unified. From the beginning the Drum work and the Guitar set the pace. The Bassist foundation was laid very well, I appreciate how he joined the end of the hook on the melody. The voice came in strong and confident which also contributed to the energy of the song. The background vocals also added to the drive. The guitar solo was well timed and executed cleanly. Good job Mihi, keep up the good work. I am Stan Barnes and I approve this review.

A Fascinating Neo-Pop Voyage...

Salut to The Band Edition...you have introduced me to surprising new dimension in Pop Music ! Your direction is ' lively / refreshing and unique' and it is not what I can describe as a typical dance music. However, in different parts of the world dance rhythms are subjective. The instrumentation is solid and attractive. Overall, I appreciate the 21st century perspective. Well wishes / Bon Continuation....! Barrymore
