Pleasant Easy Listening!Hello Folks, this track has a beautiful piano opening, and with clever double tracking of her voice, she goes on to look back in time. A simple track, with base drums etc, to make you relax even more as you listen to it.
Nice Pop-Song with a good feelMelodical introduction on piano underlined from soft orchester strings influenced of patterns classical music what brings additionally beauty into the song and is an extra factor. Sounds really beautiful together and creates a great space in the backround. Erja Siljamo with her unique dynamic voice and brilliant vocal projection make this wonderful composition complete. The romantic passion of the lyrics comes from the heart and is based on book Don Quixote what makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. Mixing and mastering is brilliant in appropriation of different music styles. Professionell orchestrated strings of the keyboard and the virtuos piano in the backround carries the recording. Perfect arrangement from the musicians Marcos Kuusjärvi and Veli Eronen and overall a creative composition and unique quintessence of pop and contemporary music. The song could be a radio hit and it´s worth to listen to this very poetical lyrics. I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.
Enhorabuena a Max and the Ducks por su música. Saludos desde Cádiz a nuestros vecinos.
Beautiful songI loved the intro and the story the song shares. It's a 'far' 180 cry from your "WTF is Alice" which is my favorite song of yours. Good Luck on your Music Adventure here on N1Music. Keep up the good work, my friends! ~ gizzmow, Bonham, Texas
No DucksOk so this band is called Max and the ducks but I don't see no ducks, don't hear no ducks and the singer does not appear to be singing about ducks. There are duck that can be heard on the recording. Everything has its time and think its about time to hear some ducks!
Unusual structure... BUT, quite honest.Unusual structure... BUT, quite honest. Take the time to relax and make the vocal phrases FLOW as though you were talking. They were ruched at times and please correct the slightly pitchy vocal words and phrases...Be certain, once again, NOT to rush the vocal phrases. Just let it Flow...It would be worth re-doing the lead vocals with all the suggestions in mind. Thx for sharing- YOU GOT THIS :-)
yesEverything Has Its Time review. this song is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job
HiI like the Melody but Vocal not so much..I think that Singer was afraid to sing when song was recorded..it is a nice arrangement also.I think be good to rerecord the song with better vocal ( I mean put more Energy and Heart )..as it is now I do not think it will catch The Ear 's of Radio Stations or Music Publishers but with some work done who know..try to send It to Them and let's see what They will say ( but First I will rerecord The Song) to make sure They will listen a better version of It.. I wish You good Luck..Good Job..
TalentedGreat production and vocals. The accent is perfect. It has a catchy melody and skilled musicians. Background voice cared. Professionality on the recording. I enjoyed listening and liked the lyrics as well.
Retro-Pop-Show-Tune?To me, this sounds like a slickly produced song from a Broadway show or something from a Disney production. I don't want to disparage the musicians at all, it is played well by obviously talented artists. I just couldnt get engaged and groove with it. It is piano-centric pop which sometimes drifts into a 50's "Dream Lover" groove for a few bars then back to the generally mono-tonal vocals. I'll admit I'm more than a little deaf from 30 years of rocking, but I could never make out more than a few words at a time. The production values are such as I hear in Christian-Rock bands, Although I dont think is Christian-Rock, I can't be certain because of the whole "not understanding the words" thing. I dont know if it works as a "pop" tune, but it would fit right in a play. I would expect a song like his in a Broadway show.
