From Louisiana

Fun start off nice upbeat steady tempo. I can gather that you guys have been playing for a longtime. The musicianship sounds great. Lead singer has a cool edgy rock voice. Tennessee always has so much talent coming out of the state. We see a lot of country but not as much rock and roll as there should be coming out! Good job for keeping the rock music coming. Guitarist is very skilled as well

Reminencent of Eddie Money..great quitar solo! There is alot of 80's vibe. .to me. .which I am a fan of. Some vocal doubling on the chorus might make it pop more but this is a good song. I feel you are telling the story of your musical journey!

Decent Old School Rock

Reminds me of Madness, with a punk flare, a cross between Aerosmith and Misfits, with a unique blend of opaque rock, alternative guitar and a hint of metal. Something that would sound good loud and live, like a great blues track and something you can write home to your mother about. Sounds like it is fresh out of a Southern Tilt, wonderful for a drunk Friday night at a pub in town. Good Work Gents

Sweatin' and Wonderin'

Reminiscent of good time 70's rock and roll. I wanted the lyrics to come around again before an instrumental break. Good rock voice, like Mott the Hoople's Ian Hunter or Joey Ramone. For a hooky rock riff song I would condense the solo section. A verse, verse, chorus, verse chorus, solo, bridge, chorus, solo outre formula. There is a good start but not enough lyric content, maybe some descriptiveness's for example: describing the band mates, or audience, or the club, or the girls, or the experience of being a musician. Consider backup vocals too and keyboard or beefy rhythm guitar to beef it up. Also the drum tracks are out of sequence as the song moves forward. Then everything else drops out of time. It needs to be properly sequenced and mastered upon completion. This seems to be a work in progress, albeit a good start. Stay on it. Best to you!.

Elettric sound

So many riffs of guitar in your song. So much sound from guitar, I think is to much, it could be better play your song in other way using more instruments like keybords. Your voice is good end strong.

Good rock for sweatin ' and wonderin'

Len Harris has a good rock'n roll attitude in his voice and the way he plays guitar. The notes are flowing into our ears like a river's running water beetwen the rocks and stones. He's surely is a great guitar player ! And his voice who make's me think of AC/DC singer is a natural and complementary to the whole thing.

Sweatin' n Wonderin' the same thing?

The real life subject matter is what make this song worth adding to my favorites. Being able to identify with the lyrics is the first step. This track is mixed well, and the melody familiar, but the music unique and interpretative. Vocals audible, understandable and on point. Iggy Ice said he'd like to hear it with a background vocal, and just a tad less echo. Android's girl Mila, gave you two thumbs up for creative purposes. I agree with Mila. This song is way cool, and you guys shouldn't be wondering where the next gig is. Just keep banging out songs like this one, Sweatin' and Wonderin' and the club owners will be ringing your cell phone off the hook soon! Here's the rating break down: Iggy Ice - 3.5 - Mila An - 4.5 - Me - 5 - overall = 4.5 Flash Brendan and Harley Ice unavaliable for comments. Be love... evolve... iAndroid Dior D'nai Dei

Rock til you Drop!

Sweatin and Wonderin opens up with a Bostonesque "Don't Look Back" feel, but quickly becomes its own as Len begins to tell the story. Nice lead guitar work and chord play that moves around enough but never too much. Somewhere between Southern Rock and a testament to earning your Rock N Roll wings by committing to a life of uncertainty, while trying to navigate from show to show. Overall a nicely presented song with a positive vibe and a warning to all junior rockers contemplating taking the plunge!

Acid blues

An acid-rock song, but with a blues background. I think that you have different influences, which are important for you and this is easy to listen in your sound. That's a professional work.

Great rocker!

Wow! The guitar just leaps right at you from the start of the song and just grabs your attention and it holds it all the way to the end. Would have loved to hear strong backing vocals to take the vocal to the next level. It was well done. Really enjoyed your song!

Raw Energy

Sure, it's rough and unpolished but it still rocks with a pounding energy that penetrates your membranes until you're sweating and wondering how your underwear got into your neighbors yard! Yeah, so what, you don't like Rock n Roll? Well f u! is the vibe I get under "the cheap old lights". I say Rock on dude! You got talent and don't let anyone stop you. I see a bright future under some nice, expensive lights coming your way!

my review

Hi mr Len Harris . On your track Sweatin and wonderin . i like this track . it reminds me of a laid back eighties rock . with a kick drum vibes to it . i can see your song working in the england market . i could see your song and music style working on festival . circuits and even the unIversity circuits too

Original Rock´n Roll

The song sounds for me like rock music of the 70´s. I really like the intro with the rough e-guitar, which is also playing the main role in this arrangement. After that, Len Harris begins with his unique vocals and the drummer plays a powerfull straight rythm. Easy transitions in the bridge let it sound like a rehearsal, but it seems the band having really fun together. The engaging lead guitar is forcing the music constantly on a higher level. This instrument stand out but the mixing and mastering could be better in a professionel recording studio. Overall an ambitionated rock song of a really talented songwriter. I´m sure you will likely to add him, too. Let others know your recommendation.

Sweet guitar old souls

Reminds me of the old days . More simpler times. Love the guitar . Vocals are great reminds me of my uncle's old garage bands in the 70s early 80s . Even got sort of a thin Lizzy vibe to it as well. Keep it up and never stop jamming . Keep the music alive

bien

Review-Len H -Sweatin and wonderin- By LaSueede

Very Mechanic drums beginning. You can here the midi drums. The guitar starts off with some good tunes but the quality of the recording is not good. Then when the singing begins it is out of tune. I am sorry but the singing is not very enjoyable to listen to since it not in tune and the voice not really suits the song. The bass was also MIDI ithink but had some nice metro tunes. All in all it is made in a home studio with low recording and mixing quality. You need to take this back to start. Regards LaSueede

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning anothers creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the energy. Very nice guitar work. Vocals are smooth and natural, clear. Not buried in processing. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION.
