Hello my lovely subscribers! June has been a great month for me....some successful shows lately, a couple of other interesting projects, a repowering of Shakey Deal (my Neil Young tribute band) after some rough times, etc. This is a good time for me, and I never slow down much. There is always something interesting to put my energy into. In July, I plan to record a new single...actually two fun new songs to lighten up the mood after the edginess of my album CLEAR THE WAY. I will also post a couple of tracks previously unavailable here shortly, so keep watching. I very much appreciate you guys listening to my music. I will answer any and all messages I get, remember that. And my goal is to achieve 1000 subscribers by September. That would be a personally meaningful achievement for me as I reach my 10th anniversary as a professional musician. So tell your friends and share the songs, and help me get there! Rates are very reasonable, I promise. I love performing in all kinds of different situations. Recently I had the immense pleasure of playing two songs at the Missouri History Museum, in conjunction with an amazing talk and slide show by Tom Stockman (wearemoviegeeks.com) on the history of local drive-in theatres. It was so much fun, and I performed my little-known song "Twilight of the Drive-in". I am trying to create the sort of career where I could perform a wide variety of songs for different situations, and have it feel just right. That takes a little imagination! I'm also teaching a Tuesday night singing class and writing a couple of personal projects. All will be revealed eventually, though. Anyway, folks, that is all for now.
