From climate change to Australia burning to the Middle East to our oceans full of plastic garbage and so much more. I feel it’s more important than ever for us to reach out and help each other and love one another. Please do so every chance you can and you’ll make our world a better place! Thank you all so much for your support and wonderful messages, it makes me want to write more songs! So I’m back in the studio soon to record some brand new music for 2020 that I hope you’ll enjoy. Greetings to you, my dear fans. I want to thank you all so much for your continued support. By playing my song, Love One Another, you have kept me at #1 in the Alternative category for Canada for the last 3 weeks! As well, Love One Another is climbing up the Alternative Global chart and is now #6 globally in N1M. This is incredible to me and hard to believe but a very heartfelt thank you to all of you for playing my songs! I look forward to your emails of encouragement and thanks. They are what keep me writing songs and playing music for you. I will be back in the studio soon, getting some new tunes out there for your listening pleasure and inspiration. Dear fans and friends, I hope this finds you in good health and happiness. It has been a busy year for me with lots of gigs and music played. Becoming a N1M member has been especially exciting and it's all because of you! The fact that I now have actual fans is very humbling and rewarding, so thank you for your support. I am looking forward to another great year and have plans to get into the studio and record some more tunes for you.

Writing songs for the world! From the age of 7 to 15 years old I learned to play the Scottish bagpipes. At 12 I inherited a silver cornet and played in school bands until graduation. By then I was also playing percussion/hand drums around the campfire and in basement jams. A long hiatus from music to have a family, then played percussion with "Dear John", gigging around Metro Vancouver. Started playing the guitar in 2004. Formed "Slippery Slope" in 2007 and began writing songs. For the next 4 years SS gigged around the Greater Vancouver region, the pinnacle being 2 all original shows on the Plaza of Nations stage during the 2010 Olympic celebrations. Check out SLIPPERYSLOPEWEST1 on Youtube for more original music. I continue to write songs and have a large collection now, many of which I have yet to record properly. So it's back to the studio soon so that I can share more music with you!
