My take

Pretty cool intro. Nice touch.kinda reminds me of the old Marty Robbins cowboy songs. Same feel. Takes me back to the Old West. Good mix, thanks to the producer for bringing the vocals out to the front. Without Vocals we really don't have a song. And this is a good one. Good tight band. Less is more in recording and it holds true in this song. Good job!!

Nice!

The music is nice, and I like it. I think it does have that down to earth vibe to it. I like this one a lot, and you're on your way to getting an award somewhere . Keep producing beat work like this I love the lead guitar, and keep your touch on it. This is unique and original. I think this is a hit for sure. Nice one! By the music you can tell that you are passionate about your work as every artist should be. Never give up and dreams and bigger things will follow! Maybe we can collab one day! PEACE!

Send in the Clowns!

Yes the true underdog the unknown hero and a song that probably should've been a hit already! Uniquely awesome original idea for a song and a story that has yet to be told from this perspective. Enjoyable western instrumentation jams along while the story unfolds to an unexpected flute solo and an honest homage to the bravest man at the rodeo! Would sound great sandwiched between Devil Went Down to GA and Ghost Riders on the Sky!

Amour of a clown

This tune is certainly different and the music sure puts out the feeling of riding horses and bullocks ...way out west. The lyrics tell a true story of how the much needed clown saves the rodeo rider from getting hurt or killed while putting their own lives at risk. Its a song that grows on a person once it's listened to more than Once. Good luck whatever you decide to do with this song... Cheers Johnny from Melbourne Vic Australia

The Bullish song

Interesting concept for a tune. Reminds me beat wise of The Devil Went Down to Georgia....The BGVs could be tighter. Chorus should maybe soar a touch more? I would also suggest breaking out the music altogether. The flute should be replace with an electric guitar solo...I guess the dude is a clown and that is the concept? Hmmm...well it is unique this tune. They do this style now, so it is available. A little long of a tune needs release

Here's to Rodeo Clowns

Helpful

Armour of a Clown, is a reasonable and fairly accurate account of what a professional Rodeo Clown goes through. They have a tough job and don't always get the credit they deserve. You have to be willing to basically be bait for these stressed out angry animals. This song let's us in on a day in the life of a rodeo clown and I think the two artist did a good job laying it down on this track. Very impressive....

Rodeo Clowns...

This is a sport I would never indulge in. It takes a very special kind of person to do this...I think crazy. Now about this song....It's got good instrumentation. But the lyrics a little work and so does the lead vocal...it's missing something...but I don't know exactly what. I think what I'm saying is the song needs a better hook and a better chorus. And that flute? No...a strong lead guitar. Flutes are not in the mood of the song...but they are well played. All in all a good song...almost ready...but not quite....

Avantgarde

I have to say this one is probably not for me. I am more used to Pop and Country Music with a mainstream character and always try to judge a song also regarding it's commercial viability, which means wether there is a bigger audience for it. This piece is by far not mainstream and commercial viability is limited. However that doesn't automatically mean that it is a bad song and not worth listening to. I like the idea and I like the groove, however the intro is by far too long, also the whole song is too long, especially because it doesn't happen that much. That get's boring,

It is an original song, the United States is fully breathing in it, I liked the instrumental part worked and with a loudness of home study, I have been eager to have a beer in 1 bar of town and this is a very good signal. Normally, 'Emborrachate sun but I also think that it is a typical song very common and almost distinguishable from other similar compositions a positive aspect is the atmosphere that generates and the negative aspect is its similarity in other songs I hope to have helped in this review

An Ode to Rodeo Clowns

Helpful

If you are attempting to write a novelty song about bull riders for bull riding fans, then this may be it. I think your sampled commentary is a bit too lengthy, but what do I know? I couldn't tell if the commentators (also, do you have/need their permission?) were talking about the bull or the clown. The flute solo doesn't seem to fit the western, tough guy theme, but it does fit the clown theme. I think a comical-sounding chicken pickin guitar might work better. It bounces along well enough. Good luck!

Hi

I really think You need to cut the "intro" I mean that talking part..if is possible.. You also need to make a new arrangement.. not much is going on in the background ( just 3 notes over and over )..a good vocal also will be helpful.. e write.. as it is is ok to play life on the concerts( I guess ).. but as Real World goes..this is a Good idea of the song.. but just an idea.. I will re write and rerecord it.. remember that Radio Stations use only 2.5 - 3.5 min long..I do not think Music Publishers will "jump" to sing it...good try... I wish You good luck..

yes

an excellent country piece with a rock substrate, your spoken voice gives the piece a new twist that projects it towards other musical genres that are probably not yet invented. in the unusual and not very conformist environment that you created with your piece you could not miss the flute that at first glance does not seem to be suitable with a musical construct of this kind and instead represents the icing on the cake.
