Jimmi Weiss is a Brazilian composer, guitarist, songwriter, and singer. For Jimmy, songs are a form of intellectual provocation, poetic and musical, attuned to contemporary society, but in harmony with the preservation of nature and the ethnic and cultural richness of the world. Eclectic by nature, he cultivates and strives for balance between various musical influences: from Brübeck to Rampal, from the Beatles to Bossa Nova, from the harmonic and vertical dissonance of jazz to the rhythmic and horizontal consonance of rock. Thus, the songs of Jimmy Weiss explore intelligent and forceful situations, exploring different musical rhythms and poetic genres. A fan of Blues, Classic Rock, Bossa Nova and Jazz, he formed the Leros group with his colleagues from the University of São Paulo: Nuno Mindelis, Luiz Fishmann, Maicira Trevisan, Fabio "Pim" Farid, José Gaspar Ramos and José Walter Campos. Currently, these musicians continue to produce in individual careers. Jimmy has been mainly dedicated to composing new songs.
