Wow !

What an amazing song ! A beautiful, soulful vocal performance with a quality pianist. I'm sure it will be an inspiration for people who have suffered. Through it's strong message and sense of hope and strength, the song gently carries you along making you feel better with every passing bar. This is not a pop song, but a message of love and self pride. . . Peter Newton

Wonderful Vocals

In first line I hear megagood vocals with emotional lyrics. It is really a pleasure to listen to this VOCALS. I only can say: You made a great job here and you can be proud of this song. I wished that I would be able to sing so great like you.

Vocal Talent

Beautiful Vocal Talent reminiscent of Doris Day and Billie Holiday together in sultry tone and an essence of heartfelt yearning. I look forward to hearing more for Jamie Parsons. She is a light to watch burn brighter as she adds her own clever spin on the words of each song she sings. I hope she will branch out into more genres which I am sure she is quite capable of doing. Beautiful quality of recording that highlights her sultry tones with instrumentals that complement and enhance her quality of tonal excellence.

I listened to this song several times and it is now stuck in my head. I feel like this was written from raw emotion and truly believe that the best songs in the world have an actual story behind them. A Good Start

The lyrics are absolutely fantastic! Her voice is superb as well. This song has so much pontenial to be a completely rounded song as long as it can get some better recorded instruments on time with the song. Other than that, I enjoyed the song thoroughly. Great song with incredible passionate vocals. Love the self-empowering lyrics which say and mean so much. Very touching and very well recorded. The whole song really flowed, nice smooth jazz sounding.

Something we've all felt before

Sharing a sentiment we've all experienced at some point in our lives, Jamie spins out a solid vocal performance with a well-written song. I would love to hear this as a slower piano ballad treatment someday!

A flow of the heart.

When this track first started with a midi sounding piano I thought...Here we go. But as soon as the singer started singing I have to say I was surprised, She has a lovely tone to her voice and carried the vocals beautifully, Although its not usually my type of genera of music I quite enjoyed it somewhat. It reminded me of early work from micheal jackson. But I dont know whether thats a good thing or bad sounding out dated with the times. Maybe not. My only downfall with this track was the music sounded very computerised at times, but thats just a production thing though the mix was perfect, I would love to hear it recorded by a real band of musicians and with the singers voice as she carrys it and really knew where to take it note wise.

Ray Charles' prodigy

The lyrics and vocals for this production are deep as they are touching. Brought me back to a time when music wasbout the meaning and the emotion it expressed. The instrumental composition was simple and light, unlike modern day's defacto sounds, that is so saturated with so many layers, it gets hard to even follow the melody. But this reminds me of a more classical time period. Keep writing and singing. There are no limits.

Nice Song but......

Lkes... Voice: very nice, Song: lovely melody, sort of 90's soul/pop. Subject: Only think it touched on what you were trying to put across, I wanted something more hard-hitting, and I don't think the style suited. It's a bit like wanting to hear Patti Smith to tell the story, but end up getting Gladys Knight. But saying that it was full of pathos more about a breakup of a relationship, I thought. The arrangement: I thought it was to up front and got in the way of the vocals a little, I would have liked it a little more stripped back. For instance, just a solo acoustic guitar would have given the song a darker tone subject wise. i.e. listen to me, not dance to me.
