This work is quite well done .... Very good voice, well toned, well modulated, clean and clear. The guitars are well recorded and sound very good and clear. The solo is perfect for the song, not too much, or lack distortion and his virtuosity is just right for the concept. Also the mixes are well made, for the space in which each of the elements are located. The only thing that has not convinced me much is the sound of the drums, it seems to me that it is not very compatible or adequate with respect to the sound of the other instruments. And one more detail, the voice always has the same delay effect, If I had produced this song, I would have put that effect in the chorus part of the song and in the rest other effect or none, but I guess it's all question of taste, right? A part to these two umtimos, everything very well .... Good job!!!

James T Wilde - what an awesome arrangement! I hear hints of your influences on this tune. From the first chords being strummed and picked I found myself drawn to the lyrics. A beautiful story I hear of struggles we all face. The lead on it makes the song pop, soulful with a touch of scale technique! A Life Half Lived is definitely worth listening to!!!

This Ts A really Nice Song... But Details Matter!!

I listened to this and enjoyed it until at 1 minute it just stopped. No fade down, nothing. I made a decision not to review the track before because I listened for thirty seconds to the amp being turned on , the hissing, the clicks of the guitar case opening and I thoight why the fuck should I review this if it is not presented in a professional way. it went through my mind not to review this but I liked it and I heard real talent there. I have risked everything never rushing anything out other than produced to the best standard I can. at the time . My journey has been sixteen years. You never know how long it will take none of us do. So I liked this song. I would like it more if it faded down so that I didn't find I was listening to just a clip. These things are part of what separates those that will one day make it and those that won't. I hope James that you take on board what I say because it can be the one clip rished out unfinished and untidy that makes the difference between success and failure and you deserve to get there one day if you keep on believing, keeo climbing and keeo getting better. Good Luck!

Timeless

Terrific music great to smoke to, the artist here continues to impress fans new and old with his timeless style. The feel here is of a warm new jacket that is stylish but also rugged. A jacket you could sleep in if you’re in need of it.

A life half lived by James T Wilde

A song by James T Wilde, it mixes three different worlds with a perfect matching: an electronic drum bit, an acoustic Spanish-style guitar riffs and a powerful hard rocking guitar solo, a great song to take a listen at leas 10 times in a day

A Life Half Lived review. this is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

A life half lived

This is a nice song with some nice guitar work at the end of the song. The vocals are a little out of key .they need a bit of work. Always think what will sell this song and what will catch people.

Great opening lick. Nice acoustic playing bro. Beat is a little stiff but I guess electronic is that way. Vocals sound good - a little muted and maybe too much effects especially too much delay - but hey that's just my taste. Overall pretty good. I liked the extended higher note before the chorus. But you do go a little out of range towards end of chorus. But that makes things edgey. Nice job.

Was unsure what to focus on in this song. The mix and master wasn't to great, I feel like the instruments out weighed your voice a bit. The idea was there, but the instruments used I believe could have been better chosen. You have a good voice, keep it up!
