Read more2020 was a rough year...this Covid bullsh** for everybody, I got hurt and ended up having three surgeries, then a close family member gets shot and killed.
On a brighter note, we got a much needed new president, and I have a new album coming out! I hope y'all are finally ready to hear something outside of the box and potentially game changing.
This may also be my last release as iRoc Omega, so I'm taking my time to dot all i's and cross all t's in order to make this not only my personal best, but one of your favorites too.

Having recorded with the likes of NE-YO, Miguel, Kurupt, Devin the Dude, MC LYTE, Erick Sermon, C-BO, etc., iRoc Omega secured his first major recording contract to release his debut album “Weight of My World.” Initially regarded with high expectations, the album ended up being shelved along with iRoc being dropped from the label. Discouraged by the cold-heartedness of the major label machine, he decided to forge ahead and continue building his fan base independently.
Performing on the bill with Kelly Rowland, Outkast, DMX, Paul Wall, 112, Warren G., SWV, Doug E. Fresh, E-40, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, and many more, diehard fans were dissatisfied with the former Black Ice Records/Universal Records recording artist's debut independent release entitled "The Coldest Fire", so he dropped the refreshing and recharged "The Coldest FIRE: RELOADED and REDEEMED" six months later. Now, promising never to disappoint again, his upcoming release entitled "Forever The Coldest Fire" is highly anticipated.
To kick things off properly, the first single entitled “It’s All On You,” boasts the household name and star power of the legendary Snoop Dogg, while self-proclaimed rap funketeer Dre’ Rock and Emmy Award winning composer Jason Hausman seals the deal by making it an undeniable hit. Distributed worldwide to DJs only on April 20th 2018, the song is gaining momentum through positive feedback and generating a buzz that, by the time you read this, may have already reached your own ears. Born in Chicago, iRoc would move to Columbus, GA and Far Rockaway Queens, NY before settling in Anchorage, AK. With his parents divorcing soon after settling in and life in Anchorage being similar to any other city, the next 10 plus years was hard and would only get harder for the soon to be rapper, with poverty setting in and forcing him to resort to a faster way of life in the streets. Initially, and just as something to do, iRoc started rapping with some of the other kids in school, but as countless people recognized his talent, it would soon become a passion not yet strong enough to overpower the pull of fast money. Life in the fast-lane would lead him to experience the loss of many friends and even his own freedom, facing a temporary stint within the system. Upon his release, the choice was finally made to pursue music a lot more seriously.
iRoc secured his first major recording contract and started working on “Weight of My World.” Initially regarded as one of the label's anticipated releases and featuring tracks with veteran acts such as Ne-Yo, Kurupt, Erick Sermon, Miguel, MC LYTE, and Devin the Dude (most known for Dr. Dre's "I just Wanna F*ck You"), the album ended up being shelved along with iRoc being dropped from the label. Discouraged by the cold-heartedness of the major label machine, he decided to forge ahead and build his fan base independently.
Now with music airing on Pandora and other platforms throughout the world, in addition to performing on the bill with Kelly Rowland, Outkast, DMX, Paul Wall, 112, Warren G., SWV, Doug E. Fresh, E-40, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, and many more, iRoc Omega has been in circulation on the underground scene for years. Dissatisfied with the former Black Ice Records/Universal Records recording artist's release of "The Coldest Fire" in 2013, diehard rap fans were revived when he dropped "The Coldest FIRE: RELOADED and REDEEMED" later that year. Now, promising to return to real hip hop, his upcoming release entitled "On Everything I Love" is in high expectations and anticipation.
