The Fellerband in your ears.....After listening to Fellerband, from Germany (one of The Papa Joe Show's favorite countries that play our music), I realized it seemed like listening to a choir of angels ! Awesome harmonies added to the fantastic acoustic guitar work make for nice easy listening.... great to wake up to and start the day the right way. You will enjoy what this band brings to your ears....for sure! Take a moment to check them out, you will be greatly impressed with them.... Papa Joe DeMaio (The Papa Joe Show)
I'd follow the song...Great voices, solid melody, and a very believable lead vocal; my God there is so much talent in Europe, and yet it sounds like something I might have heard right here in America...my grandmother would be proud that it came from her homeland.
Solid Track!I don't know if this track is top billboard but it sure is a catchy tune I really like the hook which really drives home and sticks to your memory the beat itself is a nice one and the lyrics flow well produced tune.
Beautiful SongI love this song so much! It's like David Bowie meets The Grateful Dead. What an enchanting song. The chorus is gorgeous and reminiscent of the Mamas & Papas. I'm definitely a new fan of FellerBand!
More to go onThis is a really catchy tune guys, and the choruses brings this melody to it's best. It would though be so much better with a bass line following all the way from the beginning, and maybe with drums as well (they came plodding along after 4 minutes). Sometimes the guitars were out of sync also, but in some peoples ears this is a part of the charm. Keep up the good work, folks :-) Cheers
RUNNING DOWN THE MOUNTAINlike the style of the writing wholesome great arrangement good playing great harmonies smashing luv the backing by Neil young look forward to hearing more from you guys thanks for the tune bravo
Little wild Creek reviewWow, thanks for the link to the song. Bestablished tune I've listened to on here. Love it. Love the backing vocals, bit of slide guitar, and what you've done with the backing vocals. Great job; great song. If you want me to review any more material then send them my way. Top marks. Cheers.
really wanted more detailingif a song is a painting then this one needs more colour and clear lines-think of your music as yours and not a copy of something else and gradually you will get closer to your true path-i think the song is too long and hence my comment about lack of definiton. On the positive side if this is self penned the ecological theme is great and the words spot on-solo vocals need a bit of tidying up chorus is cool - not sure about the beats at the end- the problem all over is that there are millions of artists doing this genre of music so competition is fierce!!
My ReviewI like the song and enjoyed listening to it. I guess your waiting to hear the "but". A few recommendations. I would shorten the intro. As you know music publishers and A&R make their decision within 20 seconds of listening to a song. I don't think that 2nd lead break and all that follows is necessary. It's causing the song to be way too long and too repetitious. I like how you introduced the drums near the end . Would be beneficial to do that a lot earlier in the song. Very nice vocal and guitar playing. The recording has a good mix but needs mastering. Wishing you the very best with "Little Wild Creek"!
yesLittle wild creek review. this song is a strictly Country piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Country style as I said everything recalls the Country genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Country piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job
upliftingnice sentiment. Loved the drum and the different and lower harmonies towards the ending. Congratulations on a great arrangement. Would only want for a bass in the latter portion of this tune. Overall a hit for me. Best wishes to all ! Mike (Indiana Breeze)
A Scottish Band indeed :-)Now, you like Northern UK alright and you do sound like a Northern UK group. I would say a Scottish band as I lived there a long time and heard many. But for the dobro - which I like a lot anyway - yours is the typical Scottish folk/celtic sound. This song is a ballad and I see it at the end of a movie, while the titles run down... Good stuff boys!!
Well written songI really liked the way this song was written and performed. When the harmonies came in on that chorus, I started bobbing my head. I feel like the song could be best served with a little more time in editing and mixing. And could really have used a bass drum to drive the tempo. But overall the song was well done and you can tell it was really performed well!
