Dr. Fred Cole _The exceptional Musician and ComposerWhat makes a good music writer and composer, especially if the composition is an instrumental. One has to have the ability to musically take you somewhere, a musical landscape has to be created, you must be able to tell the story without the vocal contribution into the comp. Dr. Fred Cole has this gift to create compositions that does just this. When I listen to music I like to put on the headphones, close off the world, close my eyes, and let the music do its thing. When I listened to "Forest", I found this comp. to be a very soothing,a smooth simplistic groove that takes you some where. This is one of those songs that you download and keep on your phone to listen to when you just want to grove. Love this song. Dave Percell
Yellow Jackets in the ForestThis song breathes the air of A Yellow Jacket song. An nice easy going melody. Sure a song to listen to with your headphone on. Ok in Yellow Jackets there's a bigger part for bass and the sax solo but still a great song!
True Classic JazzThis project is a true classic jazz project. From the first note to the end of the song is a true musical experience that takes you on a journey of ambience. Great work! Very nice tune indeed!
HelloI like the Piano Touch..I think that be better if The Piano be on Top all the way with out breaks... it is Relaxing and put Me in Good Mood...to bad that Music like that has very small Music Market ..is Hard to pitch it to Radio Stations and Very Rear Music Publishers take It for Publishing Consideration...I like It and I wish You good Luck with submissions ..You did a Good Job on It..but most Important Part that You are Trying to paint a Picture using Musical Notes... I Like That a Lot..
Transcendental ExcellenceGrand Salut Dr. Fred....every now and then life weighs more than you think it could. However with your gem of a song I was fortunate to have been taken to someplace distant and lovely. Highly inspirational and spiritual like a Gospel interpretation, but at the same time sultry and jazzy. Bravo...Mission achieved ! Bonne Continuation...Barrymore
Excellent!Hello! Cool! I really like the general atmosphere that emerges from this piece. It's not without reminding me of some great contemporary jazz formations. The melodic parts are catchy, very well recorded. The battery partition-aux "brushes " is well soft. I would like to know how you worked this composirtion, with what material... It is a musical piece of a very high quality, which could very well be suitable for a great label signing authors of jazz music. Congratulations, and yet Bravo!
