Amazing ambient vocalsDr. Cole did a fantastic job with this piece. I really enjoyed the world music, ambient, and fusion feel to this song. Very unique and great experimentation with varying styles. The build, the tension and sound mix are very exotic. I know you listed the song as ambient and soundtrack which are accurate but other classifications could include fusion, jazz and or trip hop. It's a beautiful collage of artwork.
Beautiful orchestrationWhat I love about the Ambient genre 'umbrella' is the amazing tunes, sounds, music and orchestration the emerge from within it, this piece is absolutely no exception but epitomises the beautifully diverse weaving of all of this, it is beautifully orchestrated and engaging from start to finish, for me it's a shame Dr Fred Cole lives on the other side of the world, but thankfully we live in the 21st century
Excellent !!!Hello! It's not often that you can really listen to original music!!! Very original in its construction, its harmonies, its singing. A very cool atmosphere for the first part of the composition; Then, it is racing, with a rhythmic well-supported, with this song that continues... And then sounds and a blend of sound worthy of contemporary music. Really, here's something that I like very much! Still!!!
HelloI was expecting something much better from You...This is not Your best work..well I got a feeling that Music Insiders will have a same opinion.. I really like to know what They will say..all I know this is Not an Ambient Tune any how You ask for review..IIf I be You I will NOT send This to Radio Stations and Music Publishers to avoid rejection ..as You know You have just one chance to impress Them so Only send out Your Best Work...I wish You good luck..
Great piano workVery impressed with this relaxing piano. I really enjoy instrumentals that bring about emotion and a sense of calmness. Put this song on when doing homework or reading a book. I think it would be a perfect fit.
I am giving it 5 starsAfter listening to the track it was quite Catchy indeed. After listening to the vocals I could get the idea but I am only basing the rating based on the creativity. Everyone has there own opinion so for the jazz feel I think I would distance myself from too much of the horror element them in two accounts the voice over emphasis and the ending. In my suggestion I would not make drastic changes in the arrangements process. Maybe incorporate a neo soul tone and it may do well. But we cannot all have the same ideas so for creativity Try new things use subtle sounds and try modified added fx to static instruments it gets Catchy results too. I always make music in a diverse context in accordance to a specific genre. Cheers
Shadow WorldKinda thru me off a bit in the beginning, but I am more of an abstract artist that can appreciate the quality of all noise. Maybe a more transitional flow would equate to the regular listener. Definitely an eye-opener. Keep doing your thing and making tracks Dr. Fred Cole.
Shadow WorldHello, at the begening this is a really jazzy, ambient track. Very subtile touch of keyboard. Voices are great. At middle I like rythme. It transform the track to a tune of 90's. I find after the sounds sampled as I ever heard in another track of Dr Fred Cole. Finally, at the end I ask myself if it's the sound track of a movie? I really like your job Dr!
Amazing Fusion of Abstract SoundsShadow World, an excellent work of art, really captures your attention with the sounds of jazz, fused with amazing abstract vocals. The sound recording suddenly morphs into an upbeat jazzy grove which fades a series of abstract sounds. This song will serve well as a sound track for a film of mystery and drama.
Melancholic musicThe music from Dr Fred Cole is very calm and melancholic music. Is ver melodic too. It's like watching the climactic scene of a dramatic movie in which the children play as protagonists ... I have the impression that it is one of those children's films from England. It is important to realize that the music of Dr Fred Cole, has the ability to create an atmosphere but a little tragic, it is still diaphanous and delicate as the hair of a girl moving to the beat of the wind in the center of a park. Something has happened to him, something has been stolen ...
yeswow how nice, an exquisitely jazzy start that then goes to another direction. which? Well I'm listening and I rock from the voice, from the drumstick that beats on the drums. then begins a much more charged and powerful rhythm and it all ends with a fearful atmosphere. I do not know why but you made me think of a game a few years ago that was called shadow man. is there any relevance? as always, a very good job
Shadow WorldSmooth jazz undertones, ambient, atmospherical melodies!, what is not to like? This offering "Shadow World" from Dr Fred Cole, definitely delivers in the crossover effect, I can see why it is called shadow world as it manages to traverse several genres, gently riding the edges to combine into its own reality, The use of the ethereal vocals really helps to achieve this effect, i can imagine that you could go good Walkabout with this in your headphones, The second listening was well relaxed as well!, Thank you
Experimental Organic JazzJazz overtones tones set this composition in motion as vocal musical themes take control of the main thrust and carry on through to the Breakbeat mid-point. African natural vocal elements simulate the natural organic soundscape that subsequently breakdown into a dark almost counterpoint theme. The voices again carry the song forward to a haunting conclusion. The mix is well executed with all of the musical element nicely situated in their own frequency space. The arrangement keeps the listener's interest as the song progresses.
Fusion Jazz Ambience and ElectronicaThis is a very special style of music. Jazz mixed with electronica. I consider this music as a psicodelic trip a journey in diferent directions. This track has a very experimental univers and has it´s own caracter. It remains me also of the jazz rock band Weather report, gong and Mahavishnu Orcestra from the period 1970 - 1985. That gender with those fusion bands I think they have been a great big influence for DR Fred Cole who is continuing with this fusion jazz tradition and blended it with electronic music. I really like this track. It give me a of pictures in my head
