Great Classic Rock Song

Really well constructed rock song- with a timeless sound to it. Vocals are great and match perfectly with this style of music. When the chorus hits, the song lifts even further- you can't help but sing along! 'Jet city wooooman!' Bravo :)

nice song

Hi Donivan. Nice song. You have a nice timbre in your voice. The electric guitar sounds really powerful. Wow. For what I've understood, 'cause English is not my native language, the lyrics are inspiring. The song really rocks. The composition as well as the recording is very original; it's an intriguing and unique chord-scheme and, concerning the recording, I like the way you put the sound of a jet airliner at the end. I'm definitely going to listen to the song again and I'm very curious for more of your music. Please check out mine on N1M and, if possible, write me a review. You do not have to say many words, because this band not only convinced since yesterday with quality. the fans prove that. even singers, of course one considers the vocals predominantly and at some point other possibilities of a vocal part come to mind. Nevertheless, convincing quality - because everything is consistent and therefore convincing.

Good Rock'N'Roll

This is a very good 80s Rock.very good music and lyrics. I would recommend this to anyone that like this kind of music.and I love all kinds. This song is one of my favorites. Reminds me of when I first started to listen to Rock 'N 'Roll when I was just 10yrs old. Keep up the good work. Yours truly LS Lighter Shade

Powerful rock music sound!

This is a great recording sound and performance comes from musicans who understand what good music is about. Some can hear that the band had fun and really enjoyed making music together. And that gives the song magical moments. I like the introducing melody of the e-guitar, which further repeating in this song often. After Donivan begins to sing with unique vocals, the whole composition gets more various. The chorus sounds really great in a varied pitch range of the refrain. You will hear great accompaning rock guitars making the music rich and brings additional power into the song. The distortioned and virtuos played guitars bringing imaginative transitions from the stanza to the chorus making the song lively and creative. Powerful drums puts one immediately into the right mood. This together with the bass-line isn´t simple arrangend as an extra factor. The lyrics comes from the heart and touches the soul and makes the meaning of the song engaging for me. In a way, this arrangemend sounds more creative than others. This composition is definitely professional and very creative, influenced by alternative and classic rock in perfect orchestration. This great studio recording could be a radio hit. I can´t stop listen this song and I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommendation.

In MY Opinion

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the guitar work.Think about a little less reverb on the vocals. Vocals are smooth . The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Is it what we want, and how we want it. IF NOT. what are willing to do from there? Thank you again for asking MY OPINION. Johnny

Queensryche - Jet City Woman review. this song is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Review - Quensryche - JetCity Woman - Donivan ????

This is a straight copy of the 80´s band Queensryche. I dont know why you take a copy and put it out...... I listen a lot to them in the 80´s. Bfore i woke up to the Luciferian music industry and the Illuminati puppets they ALL are. All that get time in their fake, false media and time in radio, MTV etc is just the puppet for Satan, Lucifer. If you want to see the truth watch this video. And follow the music series. Our Great Awakening (to the truth).

Choral rock song

An interesting rock song. The energy and the sound are good, you play very well but you don't seem so sure when you sing. You must do more self-confident of your job. You're a professional artist.

Queensryche - Jet City Woman

Hi Donivan, thankx for the review request. Sooo - this is a dead-ahead-Fred rock song with a great drive and a great beat. The guitar playing is magic, with a great sound to it and wonderfully interspersed with the rest of the instruments. The vocals are very good, with shades of David Coverdale thrown into the mix. When the harmonies come in, they are also spot on, and not at all overdone. My only ''gripe'' is that the drumming could have been padded out a bit more, even thought the bass is paying nicely to the drum beat. It sounds like a drum machine was used, but in this day and age, they are something of a necessary evil. But, all things said and done, the bass playing is great, the drive is very cool, soo - all in all- a great rocking song, well done, and keep up the great music - David

Good rendition of Queensryche

Wow. I really like the bass at the beginning of this rendition of Queensryche, Jet City Woman. You have a great range but I could also hear the strain in your voice at the first high note. A little honey water before you sing will help that. Also a little breathing exercises and practice holding the high notes for as long as you can. I loved the song. You have a very beautiful voice. Keep rocking bro!

Nice reproduction!

I am are real fan of Queensryche! You did a really good job with reproducing the song as the vocalist is not easy to copy. The music was also done rather nicely very close to the original song. I was anticipating the lead and was pleasantly surprised as it was pretty spot on. I would love to hear some originals from this artist in the future he has a great voice and musically excellent as well. Keep up the great work!

Solid Rock Cover

I cannot claim to have listened to the original but must admit this cover had me wondering why. The delivery is top-notch, with a solid beat, strong vocals, and biting instrumentals. There is much right about this recording, making it worthy to be listened to. I certainly will be!

Me gusta mucho este estilo de música, y si está bien interpretado mucho mejor. La voz; los instrumentos; los coros, todo suena bien. El rock clásico, pero siempre estará de moda, y bien hecho mucho mejor. I really like this style of music, and if it is well interpreted much better. The voice; the instruments; the choirs, everything sounds good. Classic rock, but it will always be fashionable, and well done much better.

Excellent rock song

The guitar introduction is awesome and rocking. Normally I would recommend cutting down a long introduction like that to prevent the song from going over five minutes, but in this case I think it was too amazing to cut and also really added something to the song -- and taking any part of it away would do the song as a whole a disservice. So kudos to you for being an exception to my rule lol! The vocal part is nice, but comparatively lacking in energy. To fix that, I'd recommend bringing the vocal line closer to the front of the mix and/or making it louder.
