Remarkable Pop-Song

Impressive song influenced by pop and contemporary-music in perfect orchestration. Great intro on e-guitar and additionell accompanying arpegios on acoustic guitar is an extra factor and brings additionally beauty into the music. Engaging drums and bass-lines also convincing me in this composition. Versatile transition arrangemend forcing the music constantly on a higher level. Delua has a unique dynamic voice and a brilliant vocal projection making this wonderful composition complete. The lyrics are rather a touching story about freedom of live. This song is definitely professional and very creative. The instruments are extremely good played from versatile musicians. Very good mixed and perfectly well arranged. But why do I tell this? Because this wonderful pop-songis is an original and could be a radio hit. I´m sure, you will like to add it. Let others know your recommedation.

my turn to shine lightbulb inspiration

OK so Delua is very obviously inspired by some sort of light source as she writes "it's my turn to shine." We're not really sure if the light source is natural {like the sun} or artificial like a light bulb. If it is artificial this brings up the question, what kind of light? And there are lots of lights out there many different colors of lights and many different shapes. There are the kinds of lights we see everyday like stop lights or traffic lights and there might be lights we might not think of so much like a lava lamp or black lights that are used for special posters. There is also inferred lights it would be interesting to be inspired to shine like an inferred and not everyone might think of this. Or dim bulb or a bright bulb? That is the question this song might leave you with. She also says shes going to join the human race kind of inspiring in a way I was just thinking I there is a bit of it I could do without. But its my turn to shine might be your next in church hit song!

Positive and energetic

Christian pop artist Delua's latest release, "It's My Turn to Shine" is a positive message, affirming her self-worth and belonging. I can see this song being helpful for anyone coming through an abusive or overcrowded situation, where they were encouraged to feel worthless or isolated or sub-human. Delua's voice is distinctive and muscular in both tone and delivery. The production is not expensive or showy, just straight-ahead and solid. The band and the arrangement are solid, with strong performances from the drummer, the bass, and the lead guitar. The mix is also solid, with all elements working together, the vocals well out front, but the band still very strong. From a songwriting standpoint, I only wish the statement were stronger. You have a right to do so much more than just take up space! Those words land as an understatement, considering the muscular and joyful tone of the song overall. But this is a good starting point, nevertheless. Keep developing your art for the Kingdom of the Beloved Son!

Shine Bright

One of the things I like about NumberOneMusic is that I'll hear tons of different music that I'd never ever hear anywhere else. With that said, I'm always shocked when I hear "decent" music - like what Delua has created here. It's got a little bit of an 80's Movie Theme Anthem to it, along with a good message. The production has the recording sounding a bit Tin-eee if that makes sense, but it's a good song.

Good Music But Without Content Of A Pop

The lyrics are good, but their pop style is very generous, without pop music, more this song is very country. E The music does not have a different beat, from beginning to end. (EQUAL) Missing more production and vocal melody is stifling because it is repetitive

It's My Turn to Shine

This is one more amazing production for a very cheerful song, with a contagious rhythm that impels us to dance. I think it's really a song that should be in the top of Pop music of Number One Music. I also really liked the other themes available on the page, like I said before. I think is on the right way, and in terms of music production is really, really well done and I have to congratulate you on it again. I'm waiting for new themes, with the same quality. Best wishes !! If you can, take a listen to my newest song: "Crossing These Bridges"... You will love it! Thank you JB

Nice !

Great vocal skill. The lyric is fantastic and uplifting. Love the overall vibe. The production could be more professional, I understand takes much money for studio. Nice tune :) seem the artist enjoyed making it.

It's My Turn To Shine

The energy of the track and the vocal don't match up. In some ways it seems like the vocal is a first take. There needs to be more direction to the vocal. Overall the instrumental seems dated. A new approach may be needed. Sorry, not really feeling this one.

So good

I can tell you worked really hard on this song and it really shows. You’re lyrics had so much meaning and the way you’re vocals sounded was just perfect. It was an honor to listen to your song

It's My Turn to Shine

This song is well crafted. Good structure, good production, clear intention and positioned honestly in its description of genre. The message in the song was a little vague but some things are created to be simply a joyful celebration of the musical gift which I suspect is the case here. Every person who produces records will hear things they would have done differently but in my opinion, this is a solid effort.

A music to hear...

Hello! Here's the "pop music"... But what year, or what decade? The harmonies used are certainly very standard, without bringing to the listener something new, see unexpected... For all that, the orchestration is solid and well done, the voice well put forward and it is just, which is not always the case in the musics proposed here. Too bad that in this composition there is nothing really original, which would hang more the listener. But this style of music "Easy " to listen, or rather to hear, please; And that's probably the main thing, right?

Just my thoughts

I like the melody and the instrumental arrangement of this song. I also like the blending of the lead vocals because it fits nicely with this genre of music which sounds like soft rock. However, I'm not exactly sure about the message of the song. The lyrics say "it's my time to shine," but it doesn't necessarily say in what way. The lyrics also say "I belong to the human race," but I'm not sure what that means. The message seems a bit vague, and the writer seems more focused on finding words that rhyme. I would suggest to keep the same tune, but revise the words to focus on a clearer message. In addition, including some background vocals and harmonies could also help the song sound more fuller. .

Hi

This is a nice song but It need some work..in My opinion a new arrangement has be make..a better vocal will help the song..and when You will rerecord It make sure is a Radio Ready Quality Recording..as it is now It has small chance to be played on Main Radio. Stations and as You know Music Publishers are very hard to please so be good if You re do The song and after try to pitch it to Them... I wish You good luck with submissions.. I Like The song.. Good Job ..

vale

La canción está bien aunque demasiado previsible, la melodía es correcta aunque un poco floja. Lo que más me gusta es la interpretación instrumental y vocal, con un sonido bueno y compacto. En general bien. The song is fine but too predictable, the melody is correct although a little loose. What I like the most is the instrumental and vocal interpretation, with a good and compact sound. Generally good.

Nice... Joy ...

Nice... Joy ... I love it when one can hear and feel the compassion and conviction in their presentation... ( As a Producer, I can share some positive critique with you...) This song and the message is so sweet. I would have love to have heard it build throughout the song, lending a path to transition the entire performance... The vocals were spot on, take more breaths for longer phrasings... that keeps the very staccato phrasing down to a minimum. That said, You've GOT it and You Got This. Blessings and Thanks for sharing your Music !!! :-)
