A Brand New Year
Hey, everyone,
Needless to say 2019 is here and I'm finally writing a new newsletter to my faithful listeners and subscribers. I have been working quite a few hours (like I always say) at my real job that is funding my fun job of writing, singing and producing brand new songs from my computer keyboard in Carson City, Nevada.
Today I'm in the process of posting my new video for my new song, It May Take A Mountain, that hopefully all of you have listen to or watch in the last 72 hours. I feel the words of this song come from the 8 year struggle of caring for my mother after my dad passed away in 2010. Not that my mom was hard to take care of, but just the challenges that go along with caring for an elderly person whom you love and you are watching her age rapidly and eventually have to put her in a nursing home and then a few months later planning her memorial service with family and friends.
I'm not complaining at all for it was a pleasure to be her caretaker, but at the time that was my mountain. Now I can see the clear sky on the other side as my wife and I plan out our future with just the two of us. I know the Lord is not done with us yet. We are planning to do exactly what he wants us to in 2019. This is our transition year and I'm excited to be seeing some of that clear sky and beauty on the other side of the river.
Pray for us as we venture into the unknown and continue to write and sing God inspired songs and what ever else He has for us.
