Hiding from God's Presence ?

Hello and greetings: I want to say a BIG BIG Thanks to all veterans. This past week we celebrated Memorial Day and your service to our country is a blessing in which I am very thankful for it. May God Bless you and keep you safe. This past week I was up in Chicago because my oldest son , Henry, wanted to attend a animae convention. My family lives in Chicago so it was a good time to go and see my family. While I was there , I went and checked out a saxophone shop that I used to go to when I lived in Chicago. I tried out some saxophones on Friday and Saturday. While I was there on Saturday, there was a Jazz master class in which I was able to attend. It was lead by 3 guys from New York who were on a tour. The instrumentation was Baritone Sax, Tenor Sax and piano. They asked for volunteers if anyone wanted to come up and play so I raised my hand. We played through the song “Tenor Madness” and they critiqued my playing which I thought was very helpful and very good. It was a great time to be there. It was so much fun. I learned some cool techniques which requires me to practice harder. Its all very good. ------------------------------------- New Music on the way… ------------------------------------- I had a wonderful meeting with a producer to talk about music, recording , music in movies and whole lot of other neat stuff related to the music industry. We may be co-writing some new music. I am very excited about this opportunity in working with this producer. I have heard what he can do and its amazing. So stay tuned as this process unwinds. ------------------------------------- Hiding From God ? ------------------------------------- Are you startled by the topic ? Have you ever tried to hide from God or thinks that God doesn’t know where you are at ? It may sound a bit scary but its actually a blessing. Read what David writes in psalm 139:7-12: 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Psalm 139 is one of my favorite psalms. Here David, ( A man after God’s own heart), cries out and asks where can he go to flee from God’s presence. The answer is no where. No matter where you are at or weather or not you believe, God knows you and he knows where you are at. This is something to be thankful for. Think about a time when you lost a pet or maybe a child at park/zoo. You start worrying and looking everywhere to find that child or pet and once you do and know they are in a safe place, your mind is at rest. That’s how God thinks of you. Jesus is the great shepherd and he does not want to lose anyone. So god keeps a close on eye on all that he loves which is you. Be Blessed. Thanks for your support and please take care and keep the emails coming. Also remember to pray for leaders and our schools.
