Hey all, Firstly, a huge thankyou to everyone for supporting Dave Carr's Fabulous Contraption over the past three years. It's been great to have you along for the ride. The band is currently on hiatus - I've had to take a break from playing due to a playing-related injury. I mentioned in the previous email that there had been some RSI issues in the past, and this sprung up again last year. I've come to realise that I need to relearn how to play so that the injuries don't happen anymore, and I'm studying the Alexander Technique full-time at SAT as a means of re-educating myself. The technique is fascinating and inspiring, and it's great to have found a pathway to get me back playing without issues again… We've had to say goodbye to Adam Bodkin, who played bass with us for one year. It was awesome playing with such a great musician and such a great guy. We'll miss you Boddo.
