Born Eric Brown in Colorado Springs, Co. February 10, 1987 ((expired link). Cuba)

For Brown, music has been a big part of his life and by the age of twelve, he knew that music was what he wanted to pursue. Music is what gave him meaning in life.

Like many children, all he could think about was becoming the greatest artist to ever live. Brown notes that much of his musical influence came from the Notorious (expired link). in the early years. It is then, that Brown knew that making music was his goal.

Years later, Brown realized that the idea of making his dream a reality was not going to be as easy as he had once thought. But that reality check would not stop him. Still, Brown continued to press on, even though the odds were against him.

By the age of 19, Brown decided to take on the show name, "Cuba", which had been given to him by a late friend.

Then, as it goes with many aspiring artists, Brown was becoming increasingly aware of the challenges in the music industry and decided to join the US Navy. He was soon deployed to the Persian Gulf and subsequently served a second term.
Even while serving with the Navy, Brown's passion for music continued.
Now the list of artists who influced him had grown. From Biggie, DMX, Snoop Dogg, to Korn.

By 2012 Brown was the opening act for Bone Thugs N Harmony.

Brown believes that the "sky is the limit" when all the right people pull together and make dreams happen.
