Born in (expired link), raised in Cincinnati, became a man in New Orleans. Grand started his rap career in 9th grade though he wasn't serious about it. But even then people could see that he had a serious talent for it. He use to jokingly remix other artist songs to entertain other students with his clever word play and metaphors. Time came to pass when he moved to New Orleans as a sophmore in high school. There he met a bird of the same feather another rapper that went by the name of Spyder(The Westbank Monster). Spyder with a deeper skill level than Grand could see the potential in the young man. Spyder being in his senior year graduated and went off to college in Texas leaving Chris to learn to get better with rap another way. In 2005 Grand met back up with Spyder after a 2 year absence. Finding out Spyder had began taking rap seriously, convincing Grand to do the same. They made timeless tracks (that probably won't be heard again)but with Hurricane Katrina hitting it separated the 2 again. Spyder landing in Houston and Grand ending up in (expired link) cell phone, e-mail, and myspace the 2 have been able to stay in contact and now take music to a new level. Grand owes his success to Sp
