About Bloodline
Bloodline formed in 2009, merging vocalist Tom (Silent Time) with Guitarist Sam (Halls of Ivy), and are truly representative of a bloodline as they are father and son.
Their first album, Falling Down, was recorded in 2010, but was never released, though some tracks from the album are "out there".

Hi everyone. We truly hope you are well healthy and safe wherever you may be.
It's been a while since we last wrote, and we now a lot of stuff has been happening around the world that has probably been everyone's focus for the past year. Bloodline is currently working on some new songs, but our progress has been delayed by the global pandemic and our own health.
We have had many new subscribers over the past few months and we wanted to say "hi" and "welcome" to them all.
We have just uploaded some Silent Time material - side 1 and side 2 of the ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL album. Although not Bloodline, Sam and I were heavily involved in its production during the time we were writing and recording CALM BEFORE THE STORM. Sam joined Silent Time in a production and engineering capacity, and myself as the lyricist and vocalist on the album. It dawned on me today that the album is 10 years old this year and that shocked me. It was written in 2010 (recorded 2011) as a warning to humanity. A warning against losing our freedoms, oppression, biological warfare, and forced vaccinations. A warning that is just as relevant in 2021.
The musical visionary of ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL was our dear friend Andy Radford, who we lost to cancer in 2015. Andy was a master of the keys and responsible for the music on the album. The album also features Silent Time guitarist Andy Brailsford and additional vocals from our own Emma Devonport, who also contributed on Bloodline's LOVERS' LEAP and SEE MYSELF IN YOUR EYES.
Anyway, if you get chance, lock yourself in a darkened room with a bottle of wine and give ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL a listen
Side 1 includes the tracks: WELCOME. RIPPLE EFFECT. AGENDA 21. MARK OF THE BEAST. OBAMA SHOW. CHEMTRAIL SKIES. BASTARDS.
Side 2 includes the tracks: NIBURU DREAMS. RADIO CYDONIA 2. WITHOUT A TRACE. ENDGAME. LAST DANCE.
Take good care. New Bloodline music is on its way soon. We than you all for your continued support and messages.
Peace and love always - Tom and Sam

Firstly: We dearly hope that you all, and your loved ones and families, are safe and well. We send our love from the UK.
This, indeed, is real. We are all living different lives for now and for the unforeseeable. Way back in January or February Sam and I were excited to be working on some new material - writing and rehearsing a few new songs.
Then we got locked down.
Very much the same for all our friends in the USA, Italy, Spain, France, Canada, Australia, South America ........... and everywhere you are.
We have very much been inspired by the way in which, in the face of adversity, the Human Spirit has prevailed. In particular, the incredible efforts of those who work on the "front line" in this battle against the pandemic. Those who nurse, those who provide care, and those who we rely on for what we used to perceive as basic services. All heroes, each and every one.
Sam and I have not seen each other for over six weeks now, which is pretty unnatural for us. I really miss him, and I think he misses me too. Anyhow, I guess you all have similar sentiments. It's hard, isn't it? Though, if I am able to write this and you are able to read it, we should count ourselves lucky.
So, we decided to sing something just off the bat to put on N1M. Something for all the heroes and all those who share their spirit. It's just a wee Foos cover that is very rough at the edges, but we loved the moment of producing it and we loved the new experiences, such as singing into a mobile phone. We are in isolation, five miles apart, but always together.
Whatever happens from here on in, always be together, no matter how far apart you are, and hold on to that Human Spirit. It will see us through this.
We hope you like the song. We hope to talk again to you soon. We hope to hear from you also.
Take care and stay safe. We will get through this.

Hello to all our friends around the world.
We have been away from the studio for too long to remember now, due to other commitments and life events, and felt the need recently to blow the dust from the mixing desk and get back to trying to be creative (if we ever were in the first place).
What better way, we thought, as we approach Christmas and the festive celebrations, than to record our own version of a traditional classic carol. It is soon to be Christmas after all, and whether religious or not, we all have a favourite festive tune that we love to hear or sing.
Sam had the idea of recreating God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, which in some ways reflects the sentiment of Bloodline's musical themes of the dark being defeated by the light. Looking for something that can give us hope when times seem bleak. This song seemed to fit with our sentiment.
Sometimes, we are all at risk of going astray for whatever reason. Life, love, health and our own well-being can sometimes leave us torn and broken, isolated and lost. Yet, if we have something ... just something we can hold on to and believe in ... there is always a chance we can summon enough light to challenge the dark. And that hope may be all we need when we have gone astray.
Whatever your belief, light is the essence of all that is good. Light is the hope that we all can ever wish for and truly believe in.
As Bloodline, we wish to send you our love and light this Christmas and hope that, wherever you are in this World of ours, that you have peace and love, and that your light will always shine to defeat the dark.
We are uploading our version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen for Christmas, and hope that you enjoy it. We truly love you for giving us your support.
Merry Christmas to you all, and please have a happy and peaceful New Year!!

It was back in 2009 that Bloodline came to be. A whole ten years ago, which has passed in a blink of an eye. So many things have happened over those ten years, so many events and memories that we treasure, so many ups and downs, so many changes for good and for bad.
This house ... this magical house that contained the music room, where all Bloodline's songs were written and recorded, has now been sold and we will leave this inspirational place a week from today. Personally, I am very sad to leave this place, this magical place, but I know that new paths are still to be discovered and traveled and I hope they will provide as much adventure and happiness as we have shared in Bloodline's home over the years.
So, looking back to 2009, it was an exciting time. Sam was gigging with his band Halls Of Ivy and I was rehearsing and recording with Silent Time for the album UFOs, Prophecy and the End of Time. Bloodline's wife and mum, Helen, as a whim, suggested that Sam and I should write something together, and so we collaborated to write and record our first song called "(So I'll Be) Flowers" that would feature on our Falling Down project.
While recording some samples during the writing of Silent Time's Asleep At The Wheel album we experimented with some reverse vocals, one of which sounded as though I was singing "so I'll be flowers", which became the catalyst for the first Bloodline song lyric. It was a very simple song, but Sam had this way of writing music that was very "airy fairy" and hippy-like. He had a way of creating a musical atmosphere that inspired the lyrical content, and that is how we came to be throughout the writings of Falling Down, Calm Before The Storm and Prisoners Of Illusion.
I look at the music room now and it is empty. The guitars are gone, as are the drums, keyboards and microphones. It is now just an empty room, yet it is filled with memories.
I guess that is what life is about, isn't it? Nothing changes when we dream, nothing matters yet we change. Nothing ever lasts forever, nothing ever stays.
Anyway, I wanted to upload our first ever Bloodline song to mark the passing of the last ten years and to pay homage to the home that has provided refuge, inspiration, memories and a safe haven for Bloodline.
(So I'll Be) Flowers, as with many Bloodline songs, was lyrically inspired by emotional instability and mental anguish through difficult and challenging times, and I know we can all relate to such times where music helps as an emotional release.
Thanks again to you all for listening to us and to those who continue to send us words of support. We really appreciate that.
Peace, love and hope to you all.

Firstly
We wish to thank all of you that have subscribed to us We can't put into words how amazing that is.
We wanted to give a mention to Emma D, the beautiful daughter and sister of Bloodline. She provided the haunting backing vocal to Lovers' Leap and the joint vocal to See Myself In Your Eyes. She also stepped in at short notice to perform the backing vocal on Silent Time's Agenda 21 when the contracted singer let us down. She was so nervous as she hadn't worked in a studio before, and the photo here is of Emma directly after her session at Meadow Farm studios. She was so tearful through nerves, excitement and relief that it was done.
Despite her anxiety, she put herself through this because she loves us. And that is what we do for the ones we love, isn't it?
Mostly, Bloodline's songs were inspired by sadness, personal grief and the feeling of loss beneath the Silent Trees. Sometimes we are exposed and vulnerable, and we become lost. And when we are lost, we are truly lost. But mostly we are still loved. And that love will help us to reach for the light and escape the dark.
Since we joined N1M we have has some amazing messages from individuals who may have been experiencing difficult times - beneath the Silent Trees. And they have said to us " your song helped me through this". We are so blessed to think that our music and words have connected to someone in this way.
We might upload the first song that Bloodline wrote and recorded in 2009 called "I'll Be Flowers" just for the hell of it, as it isn't a great production. But then, we like to expose our frailties.
Anyway, we probably aren't making much sense tonight. The basic message is to love and to be loved. That's all that matters and all that we wanted to say.
I returned from the dark because I was loved.
Without love - we will be forever lost.
Love and be loved always

Hey,
We hope you are all good.
We wanted to share something different with you for fun. During the writing and recording of Calm Before The Storm, Sam and I were heavily involved in a project with the band Silent Time, which was an album called Asleep At The Wheel.
Asleep At the Wheel was album #2 of an intended trilogy - the first being UFOs, Prophecy and the End Of Time. The musical creator for Silent Time was a dear friend of ours, Andy Radford. I contributed the lyrics and vocals, and Sam provided production for the demos and master recordings.
It was a different and exciting avenue to stroll down, and we were blessed to work with Andy and his enthusiasm. Unfortunately, during the filming of the Bloodline video, Circle Of The Dance, we learned that Andy had passed away after a long struggle with cancer. We were so devastated to lose him, there was so much more we wanted to do together, and the third Silent Time album, which was part written, never came to fruition.
So, we have uploaded a track called BASTARDS from Asleep At The Wheel in memory of happy times with Andy. We hope that you recognise the message within, as Asleep At The Wheel was a message, and a warning, to the world.
May peace be with you all X

Hey,
We hope everyone out there is feeling good.
You know, we just uploaded a couple of songs from our Falling Down project, which is now 10 years old. Not because we think the songs are great, but because the whole Falling Down project was born out of issues with personal mental ill health.
WOW, that's something real, isn't it?
We support initiatives for positive mental health.
Writing the lyrics for Falling Down was like an exorcism to release the demons, because demons are sometimes hard to talk about. Demons are sometimes hard to accept and to admit to.
But we all have them ... from time to time. Demons may visit us when we least expect it. We can all be vulnerable to feelings of isolation, uncertainty, loneliness, paranoia and worthlessness. At some point in our lives we can all feel lost, and feel that there is no way out. At some point in our lives we may wish that our life was different or that our life could end. It's a reality Bloodline knows too well.
Sometimes, darkness extinguishes the light.
Don't ever allow your light to be extinguished. If you ever feel the darkness in your life, or feel unable to cope, please please please talk to someone. Talk to your loved ones, talk to someone you trust, talk to us. Replace the darkness with your light, because your light will always shine through... really it will.
Never feel that you have to fight things alone. Sometimes we all need a little help. Don't be afraid, or too proud, to ask for help. Asking for help isn't a weakness. Someone else's light might help defeat the darkness.
Anyways, hope you are all good and your lights are shining brightly. We wish you all peace always.

We added another song from the Prisoners Of Illusion theme today. We began filming the video for this track on Father's Day in 2015, and at the end of that day we learned that a dear friend of ours, Andy Radford, who we worked with for the band Silent Time, had passed away.
We were truly devastated, and dedicated this song to him.
We will never get over that loss. We will always remember his inspiration, enthusiasm and talent, and we know that we will meet him again in another place at some time.
So sad to lose someone special. Isn't it?

Hello everyone from around this amazing world of ours.
We really wanted to send a "thank you" to everyone for the amazing support you have given us on N1M. We are truly overwhelmed and touched by your messages.
You know, we are just ordinary guys trying to create stuff that might touch others. A lyric or a melody that sparks an emotion somewhere, or a vibe that connects. A lot of it is trial and error, though we are fully committed to the messages and vibes we want to put across. Most times we get it wrong, occasionally we maybe get it right, but we have a hell of a lot of fun in the process either way. We are so thrilled that you have listened to what we have done.
We hope you will all continue to message us and inspire us to create new stuff.
As a whim, we have added a link below to a "making of" video on YT for the Pushing The Addiction video. We hope the link works. Please let us know your thoughts if you like it, or even if you hate it. We love all messages from you.
Anyhow, peace to you all for 2019

We have truly been amazed by all the messages we have received from many parts of the world since joining N1M and we have been touched by each and every one of them. Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us, and thank you for sharing our music.
We have had many enquiries also about where our music can be bought, as we don't have a "buy button" on N1M, so we have added the links to our albums on iTunes for those that want it, though they are available on other sites also. We are happy for people just to listen.
Anyway, wherever you are in the world, we hope you have peace, and that the sun shines down on you.
