N.O in the building... gritty raw Louisiana boom bap

I like to hear the raw style of my down south folks... BME does not let us down on this track, the real raw Louisiana sound is on display out here, with the swagger and sour sweet perspective that make up a great musical gumbo. If I was to drop one piece of constructive critique, its that the engineering of this song has really undermined the beat, with the vocals (which are really well mixed with ad-libs and overdubs) just come across above everything else and the song loses its grove. Call me old fashioned or whatever but I am from where its all about the bass!!

I like it

Hot

First of all the beat is hot and the intro is very invitational. The hook is catchy and nice, and the lyrics are pretty good. Overall I see greatness in this song. It has potential to top the charts. The Boot Repping....

This what the game missing...This boy the truth. From the jump I was kept in the flow...waiting to see what he said next. Can't go wrong with the truth and that's what this is dog. Then Lil Homie back door with skrate murder on the track....three thumbs up but I only got two.Salute!

The Layout

It's definitely a great song. Flow, lyricism/words spoken, vibe, and just the way the song has a firm foundation under it. Laid this track right, "When you got something good, dont tweak it,, release it". Keep the creative artist touch you bring to music coming Fam! Much Respect, Mad Love Keep doing you - @KI$MET Chat Conversation End

Imagine how drastically the number of failed rap careers would drop if novice MCs could enroll in a hip-hop academy. Unlike most professions, the job of recording artist requires no schooling, which, in turn, leaves the door wide open for mistakes. Just dig through the XXL Milk Carton archives for proof that, in the unforgiving music industry, it’s easier to fall than rise. We’re here to see that this year’s Freshmen all experience the latter. Bypassing tuition, SATs and other educational roadblocks, XXL has created a study guide comprising the words of 20 established rappers, each with his or her own unique, field-tested wisdom to offer. Whether in groups or as solo acts, or both, they’ve endured through first years and beyond. Say goodbye to miseducation.
